I bought this to use on my boat, mainly to strap things down. I was worried about how well it would stick together (I don’t need things flying out of the boat on the water or the highway), but this stuff works great. Holds strong - even heavy items like an anchor. Works just as well wet or dry. In my opinion, this is great Velcro.

Velcro has lots of uses. I cut pieces to fit each of our extension cords and power tool cords. It makes it much easier to get tools into the case when the cord is held together. A tight loop at one end wrapped near the plug will hold onto the strap while using the tool so that you don't lose the strap. I also bought some of the wider version which has also been useful, but I have found many more uses of this width. The wider width isn't flexible enough work very well on bundles that aren't rigid.

We got this about a year ago to replace old hook & loop Velcro that held our soccer net to our goal frame. This is super easy to use and has good holding power. We made dozens of ties with it and they are still holding strong. Packaging was suitable for the product and shipping was very fast. Would recommend and buy again when needed.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

This is a strong and very helpful product. So many uses.

The hook and loop is very fine\small which makes it soft to the touch but holds fairly well. Used this for cable management around computer desk. No waste as it loops back on itself and can be cut to size.

I'm using short lengths, trimmed a bit, as ligatures for clarinets and saxes. These work great -- better than some very expensive ligatures. This stuff is stiffer than regular velcro and no sewing hook tape to loop tape -- a single piece does it. The only trick is that you wrap the velcro before you place the reed against the table. Then slip the ligature off, place reed on the table and slip it back on. It pushes down pretty snug. You can easily make minor adjustments in the reed and I have not had the reed slip while playing. More of the reed vibrates than with some other ligatures -- hence all the exotic designs out there.

I originally though that this Velcro was going to be pretty thin. Boy was I wrong. This is some nice, heavy duty 1" wide Velcro. I use it mainly to keep my cables in order on my Ikea Besta units with LEDs in them (Running the cables can get pretty lengthy). They work well for my purpose and I can say I'd definitely purchase these again. It's a single, 30 foot continuous strip that you simply cut to size, making sure you have enough to go around and meet (one side is rough while the other side is fuzzy, hence why you overlap).
