They work great, I didn't use them on an aquarium but to create a lightsaber like wall, it worked awesomely!

*Note to purchaser!!!* You must use 1.5" lights with this product, these are too small to fit around a standard 2" light!I can't say I'm overly impressed, I thought they would be more drastic in the color effect, but they really only give the light a mild hue in said colors. That being said, if you're only looking to change the shade of lighting just a bit, these work fine. Since the tube isn't a tight fit over the bulb, it can make removing and installing the assembly a little difficult, you'll need to apply pressure in order to spin the light in and out of the fixture, otherwise you'll just be spinning the tube round and round...also the end caps aren't secured very well, so be careful not to lose one while installing or removing the assembly.

Well overall I like the color that they showed up as the only reason I'm giving him two stars Is tragically the type of LED tubes that I had that I wanted to cover did not fit into them and I had another set that were a frosted type instead of a clear 5000k that did fit which kind of put off almost like a reddish yellow tone a lot of that's due to the fact that these LEDs or 3200 K instead of 5000 and their frosted instead of being clear the ones I anticipated on using have an end on each side that is slightly too big to fit
