I used it in an unconventional way to lift a garbage disposal unit into place too attach it to the sink mount. If I had 3 hands it wouldn't have been needed. It made the job quite easy compared to the struggle I had to do it without the jack.

Works great for my application, which is to help support long items on my desktop drill press. Not the most sturdy of items, but it gets the job done.

Solidly built and simple to operate. I use it to focus my iPhone camera when I’m taking pictures of coins.

Be careful and/or wear gloves when you unbox the scissors jack. The top and lower plates are made from stainless steel that was stamped (to form approximately 1/4" flanges on all sides of the plates). The edges of these plates, on the unit I received are razor sharp. Evidently, the punch / shear that formed the plates was not maintained and left nasty edges while forming. If you have a good file selection and 15-20 minutes of time to spare, the edges can be dressed and the jack will be safe to use. (I also hit them with steel wool after filing.) I would have rated it 5 stars without this issue.

We got two of these and they are heavy duty and work great for our purpose.

This item was purchased thru Amazon, it arrived inside a plastic bag and was mostly disassembled, the box it was shipped in was torn, parts were missing. The top surface of the table was table badly damaged due to the loose hardware floating around inside the closed plastic bag, when it was "mostly" assembled, it was VERY unstable and wobbled - A LOT! Adding the missing hardware would NOT have improved it. Quality of unit deserves less than one star, as does the fact that it is NOT assembled fully when shipped. --- VERY POOR quality control, - unusable chinese junk. Sent it back to Amazon!!!!

I love scissor lab jacks and have waited for them to go on sale as my school does not have an equipment budget so I buy everything myself. In Physics I am tired of books pulled off my carefully organized shelves to raise and lower ramps! These jacks adjust to any necessary level for the ramp angle your students seek. The knob provides a smoothly greased turn to elevate and lower as needed for experimental work. I bought 8 as I put students into 8 teams. I may buy more of another sale comes just to have more for doubling maximum heights from 10” to more!

The piece of equipment is laboratory quality and so excellent for my requirements of using a laser level close to the ground

Beurteilung der Qualität und unter allgemeiner Bezugnahme zu Aussagen anderer Kunden: Grate an der Grund- und Deckplatte: Ja, das könnte der Hersteller verbessern, obwohl das an der Bühne die ich erhalten habe nicht so dramatisch ist. Abhilfe: Zwei / drei Feilenstriche zur Entgratung mit einer Schlichtfeile oder einem groben Schleifstein an jeder Kante und die Sache ist erledigt. Stabilität / Kippeligkeit: Das in Querrichtung die Bühne unter einseitiger Belastung etwas nachgibt ist normal und konstruktionsbedingt. Ich betone, dies ist kein Fertigungsspiel. Will man dieses geringe 'Kippen' verringern, muss man die vier Muttern aussen an der Schlitzführung unten und oben BEI ERREICHEN DER GEWÄHLTEN HÖHE festziehen. Aber bitte nicht vergessen wieder los zu schrauben wenn man die Höhe wieder verändern will!!! Aber bitte, das Teil was ich erhalten habe ist ganz passabel, es ist möglich das Produkte, die andere Kunden erhalten haben, weniger gut sind. Bei Produkten aus dem Land der untergehenden Freiheit scheint sich 'Qualitätssicherung' noch nicht so durchgesetzt zu haben, obwohl ich auch schon wirklich sehr gut verarbeitete Produkte von dort erhalten habe.

Je l'utilise pour régler ma défonceuse sous table et ça va très bien.

No viene lubricado. Una vez se le realiza un mantenimiento, va muy bien.
