It's a great priced rental and practically new.
I received a message saying that my rental was going to be delayed but I was lucky enough to see that it actually came on time anyway which was a pleasant surprise. It also came pretty much new with no wrinkles, smudges or blemishes. These are great quality books and it saved me from spending over $200 through the school on a book that would only need for one semester. If you want to spend no more than $14 - $20 (prime free shipping) then I recommend you rent it. The semester will end before you need to return it too so you don't feel too rushed either. As a college student with very limited funds taking several other classes that also require pricey text books this is helpful.

Interesting, Yet depressing.
This book is interesting. But I find it weird how the majority of the historical figures mentioned are described by using their weirdest personality traits. I find it hard to stay motivated to read this book and take in the work of these characters when they are expressed in such strange ways. It is depressing to hear how most of these "geniuses" were severely depressed and had very peculiar psychotic episodes. Many of them had very strange relationships with women as well. I recommend this book if you are interested in the history of psychology, but be prepared to become slightly depressed in the first few chapters.

A great textbook. One of the few I have considered purchasing for myself. It's engaging, provides a wonderful interview, & puts many aspects of the science into perspective. I highly recommend it!
