DO NOT BUY THIS, YOUR DOG COULD BE KILLED.I bought this for my 9 month old GSD,he wrote it for 2 days and it broke allowing him to run free, if we had been near a road he could have been killed.The collar looks impressive BUT.The buckle is not a strong welded one but as you can see in the picture there is a big gap over which a thin tube is there for the pin to contact, hardly suitable for a big powerful dog, and as I said mine is only 9 months not a full grown adult. As you can see the thin tube has broken out, this was on the 2nd day.In addition the double rows of stitching become just decoration when they get near the D ring and buckle, leaving a weak rivet at either end to hold the whole thing together.I am totally disgusted that this is being advertised and sold for big powerful dogs.Please do not buy this, I am really concerned that someone's dog is going to die because their owner had put their faith in a collar that is clearly not suitable for purpose.

Looks great on my 35kilo chocolate husky/lab cross. Very strong and sturdy but with good leather give over time. Funnily enough my new choc lab puppy chewed it while the other one slept and it stood up to the test. Considering that puppy can strip a tennis ball of fluff in about 2 seconds and has chewed her way though a wooden fence, I’d say that’s a good test of robustness.

Very surprised by this item! Needed a collar ASAP as the last one snapped after years of use.Bought this on a whim until I could get to the pet shop but was pleasantly surprised.It felt cheaper than the last leather collar and I thought it would surely snap within days (I have a big dog who likes to pull on his lead) but in fact it’s a lot stronger than it looks!Nice fit too.For the price of this collar I’d definitely say I’ve got a bargain!

I bought XL for my Siberian Husky and Large Labradoodle and the fit comfortably on each dog. They look lovely and a presented in a neat little bag which is a nice touch. Overall really happy with the collars and will be replacing them with another from this seller when needed.

The quality is very good, much better than I expected to be honest. It looks to be well made, double stitched for durability, good strong buckle and, for the dogs comfort, there is a leather tongue that sits between the collar and the dog.All in all, I’m happy with the value for money and would recommend

There is nothing to dislike about this collar. We bought this for our German Shepherd puppy dog. The leather is nice and thick and the width is exactly as described. The orange stitching looks great. If I needed to, I would buy another without any hesitation.

Fits my 7 month old German Shepard well with room for him to continue to grow into it. The d-ring is quite large so very easy to attach a lead. The collar looks good. It is sturdy enough to control my dog but soft enough to be comfortable for him.

my lab loves water like most and therefore the collar starting cracking within a week. He did also have a cost by the neck in which the vet thinks its due to the collar. I would not buy again. He does still wear it but I take it off regularly and am fully aware this will not be his collar for life. annoying. buy a proper leather one not this!
