Nice introduction for each of the songs covered which include scales used so great if you're properly studying bassCovers licks not entire songs. Useful if you can Rip your CD's and load into an audio editor (Audacity with LAME MPeg3 plugin is free) so you can loop/slow down measures to practice along to.

This Book helped me loads. Flea is my hero and all i have ever wanted to do is play like him and in getting this book i was able to get into the state of mind that Michael is in, not only by the tabluture and notation. But also all the way through it has the history of the red hot chili peppers, but mainly focused on Michael B the Flea.

Seeing as RHCP's repertoire is heavily riff based and contains many layers of sounds, Red Hot Chilli Peppers Guitae Chorfd Songbook makes a good attempt at catching the RHCP sound.Some simpler songs are done well, and do sound well.But others are nigh on impossible to chordify.Others (which I have tabbed myself in the past) are just wrong.BUT, you do get all the lyrics!
