Ultrafino Trilby Straw Fedora Panama Hat

It is very hard to buy a hat. This hat fit my husband's style and head perfectly...The weave is very important to block out sun exposure. His doctor said to put it up to the light and make sure the weave is close....and it was...we are very happy with the purchase and will buy another one in the near future! Thank you.....

First off I like the style of the hat. Only 4 stars for the review though because of the workmanship. The weave is inconsistent: On the underside flat area of the brim, the weave ALOT of ends poking out, and some weave rows look really ratty... Pretty noticeable....But... still borderline returnable... The hat is stylish and serves it's purpose for casual wear, and I did not want to go thru the hassle of a return... Maybe this is typical of a $40 hat? The fit was PERFECT. I ordered the next size up from what I measured my head size to be. I must have a unusually large noggin' because it was the biggest hat they had available. VERY hard, if not impossible, to find a good fitting hat a department store, so I'm greatful for this sellers variety... I just drop it on my head, give it a firm pat, and it fits nicely. However, if I see this type of quality issue again I will probably return it....

The hat fits exactly as it should. It's a nice, fine hat, perfect for the summer. It's not a wide-brim hat, which is what I always associated with a Panama-style hat, but maybe I'm wrong. Either way, the hat is perfect for summer use. I'll probably wear it several times a week for the entire summer, so it'll look a bit grungy by September, but this is to be expected. I've bought UltraFino hats before for this very purpose (sun protection and style) and I've always been satisfied. The fit is perfect, it's light-weight, and it's a pretty hot style.

The hat arrived packed properly in a hat box, so it was in excellent condition. It has a nice sturdy shape and the quality seems decent for the price. Sure, the weave is a little inconsistent in some areas, but that is to be expected for the price. Otherwise, it is perfect and it was shipped quickly with proper packaging. It has a wider brim for better sun protection--I purchased it to wear in the city while walking.

Very nice looking hat. Had I ordered a size smaller it would have fit perfectly. I didn't trust the manufacturer's measurements, because the head size was at the top of their range. I was concerned that the correct size might be a little small, but it was a shade to big. I just placed a piece of felt under the inside band and the fit was fine.

Great hat, but the sizing is poop; One of the most important attributes of a wearable product is PROPER SIZING! This company does NOT take that responsibility seriously. I really liked the hat, but I had to return it because the size was *so* far off.

So what I mean by that is that sometimes people don't recognize me. Suits me just fine.I couldn't quite muster up 5 stars because the weaving isn't even. Maybe it's supposed to be that way. I have no idea. But I wish the weave was more even and tighter.Also, the material seems brittle. Maybe it isn't brittle but it seems brittle and I don't want to test it. Maybe it's supposed to be this way. I don't know because I have never had a hat like this.But that aside, this is a very attractive and quality-looking hat. I've seen hats that are not as nice as this that cost twice as much. Therefore, I consider this hat to be a very good value.

True to the photo, the hat is white rather than "straw" colored. I wanted a white hat to go with my white linen summer outfits. It is very well made and the size chart is accurate. Also, it was very carefully packed to arrive in perfect condition. I'm so pleased with this hat.
