Hoover Whirlwind Evo WRE06, Upright, Grey, Red, 500 W

The price is amazing and to be honest, I wasn't expecting much but this hover surpassed my expectations. Arrived on time. Easy to assemble only had to fix in the handle and put the rubber brush bar in place, no screwdriver needed, simples and took seconds. The suction is great along with the tool supplied, great for skirting boards, blinds and ceilings. Easy to empty and clean and light weight. The only negative, which could be improved on is the length of the cable. I have a one bed flat and need to plug in each room but it's not problamatic. The same hoover was £20.00 more expensive in B&M's so in my opinion a total bargin. For the price, weigh, suction and ease of use I would definately give this hoover a 5* rating.

The first thing the family said when it was taken out of the box was "that looks cheap!"It does look flimsy and not particularly well constructed, although time will tell.Any way once set up, let's get vacuuming! It has 4 floor settings, a long hose with one crevice tool. Its light, very quiet and picked up very well (we have 2 dogs and this was better than the previous 'pet' vacuum' we had). The mains lead is a little on the short side - it could do with being a 1m or so longer. Our living room is approx 4m and the vac was plugged in one end and just about reached the other end - so if you have larger rooms you may find you'll have to plug it in more often or get an extension lead.Overall for the price? Yes its cheap looking, but its light, bright and picks up well, which is the main purpose of a vacuum cleaner.

Really like this Hoover. Has great suction which is what is needed. We have a Basset Hound who is a high shedding dog all year round and his hair literally gets everywhere. So needed a Hoover which would get right into the rugs and carpets. And this Hoover certainly does that. Very impressed. It’s also lightweight and easy to manoeuvre which I love. And the pet hair extension roller is brilliant for my couch to remove all the tricky dog hair that sticks into the material. Love that. I suppose the one issue people may have is the length of the plug cord. It is shorter than most and may put some people off. But since that is the only issue. I can live with that as long as it keeps my home reasonably dog hair free lol. And I have to Hoover at least 3 times a day. It is not overly expensive but it certainly ‘in my case’ does the job it said it was made for. Specifically designed for pet homes. Really like it. 👍

This is great if you live in a small flat but not a bigger place because the power cord is quite short and so is the hose.It's cheap, it looks and feels cheap, but it does the job. The best feature for small homes is that the handle comes off, so you can put it in a base unit cupboard. And it really doesn't take up much space.But it will clog if you suck up bits, or even pet hair, as I've found with all 3 Hoovers I've owned. And I reckon that whoever designed the way you empty it never actually uses a vacuum cleaner because it's not easy to empty it properly without taking all the canister and filter apart. This is the worst yet.Suction is pretty good. It's very similar to other Pet Hoovers that I've bought, although this is the most basic.

This is a wonderful machine. Yes, it looks plasticky as some have reviewed but that means it is superbly lightweight. It picks up amazingly and especially on cushion floor as with other machines I have had this has been a challenge but with the Hoover it is easy peasy. The short cable is not detrimental as we have a 4 bedroomed farm house and I am used to having to re-plug. I did not have any difficulty with emptying the dust pan, it comes away easily and fits back with one click. This is a great buy for the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone but especially if you need a lightweight option.

suction power is very good, picks up pet and human hair in one full sweep. The machine is very lightweight, I am 80 years old and could not manage my old Dyson, too heavy. the only problem I found was that the lead is low down (difficulties in bending) and the lead is too short, have to change halfway cleaning the bungalow to swap electric points, but apart from that minor problem this machine is excellent value for money and I am already recommending Hoover Whirlwind to all my fellow dog walkers

Works fine and easy to use. Couple of caveats:Not really suitable for large rooms, or anything above standard household dust - the collection container, whatever it's called, fills up pretty quickly. The extension is really short - works OK but doesn't go very far. You can buy extensions but they don't make them for this particular model - you have to buy extensions for other Hoover brand hoovers and either hold the extension in place, or tape it on.But for small rooms, especially square rooms with no large areas under cupboards etc, it is very good indeed.
