Does not block emfs to a safe level
Do not think you are blocking emfs from your newborn. I only used this as a layer between me and laptop. After testing with a basic emf gauge, compared to another hard surface protector it was obvious this blanket isn't working and doesn't give me any comfort as a safety measure.

Great for people who have their laptop or phone...
This is perfect for anyone (not just pregnant) who has a tendency to sit with their laptop, tablet or phone on their lap or close to their body. I was skeptical but this actually works. I used to feel like my innards were frying a little but with this blanket that does not happen. I can only assume it is blocking the rays or the heat or whatever. I will continue to use it. You cannot leave this laying ON your electronics as it will cause them to overheat. Definitely recommend.

I feel good about this purchase.
Here's my scientific review... I wrapped my cell phone in it... Zero service. I wrapped my PS4 controller in it... Kaput. It's pretty soft and feels well constructed. Would recommend, and will probably give a few as Christmas gifts.

The Perfect Blanket
One of my friends recommended this blanket soon after I became pregnant since I use a laptop daily for work. It was also very reasonably price compared to some of the other ones on Amazon. The quality is great and it’s very easy to wash.I absolutely LOVE it!
