Clek Olli Backless Booster Car Seat with Rigid Latch, Flamingo

Seat is soft, my daughter says it is very comfy. Rigid LATCH makes installation secure.Things to watch for:May not fit well on "bucket-y" seats due to the rigid latch attachmentsPositions the lap belt quite far forward - make sure it is still touching your child's hipsNO positioner for the shoulder belt. Your child must be large enough to fit the seat belt when boosted up by this booster alone s/he must NOT need an additional shoulder belt adjuster (the red clip found on some other boosters for smaller booster riders.)My daughter met all of these requirements; the booster fit her okay, but I am returning it anyway. Why? She is too close to outgrowing it. The lapbelt is too far forward on her so she only has a few months to grow in this booster.My DD is 53" tall and approx 65lbs. She had PERFECT shoulder belt fit in this booster, but only okay lapbelt fit.Summary: this booster is probably best for older/bigger booster riders around 48" tall (not too big, so they still have room to grow, but big enough to not need a shoulder belt adjuster) who ride in cars with flat seats and have LATCH positions available.

Although I think this is a great product, beware of the descriptions related to the model of vehicle it is compatible to. I did read the description carefully and their is no indication that it will not work in all vehicles. In fact,it state, it is great for travel use in taxi and other vehicles. Yet is will not mount in my Nissan Murano and the Clek company only comment was that I could use it without attaching it to the safety hooks. Really???? I paid over $100 for the safety feature not because it came in pink. They should clearly state the vehicle that are and/or are not compatible.

Great seat for my 7 yr old. Easy installation and very secure. The cup holder and carry strap are very convenient. I dont love the sticker in the front but can ignore it, the design is nice and sleek and a good upgrade from a bulky harness booster. When your child says they no longer want the “baby seat”- this one is a good bet.

I love this seat. I bought it for my 8 year old daughter. She had outgrown her booster with a back and really did not want anything babyish. But I wanted something that was safe and comfortable for road trips. She is very thin and her bum gets so sore from riding. Most of the less expensive booster seats just have a 1/4 inch pad of fabric over the plastic. This one has at least 1 - 1&1/5 inches of firm foam - so much better for her. This makes the 6th - 8th hour in the car more tolerable for us in the front seats. I did not realize how little padding there really was on her old seat.The cup holder is a nice addition.I LOVE that it can be attached to a latch system. Much more secure. I made a fast stop once only to look back and see that her old booster seat had slid off the seat and out from under the seat belt. I also like that when she gets out of the car the booster seat does not fall out of the car or onto the floorboards. It is very easy to un-latch - just pull the tongue on the front under the seat.All the directions and labels are printed on a big white label on the front edge of the seat. I don't like that - looks ugly. But still worth it for the added security and comfort.She liked that she could pick her color. I like that the cover comes off and is easily washable. A bit tight to put back on but I got it back on without losing any bad words. Foam bottom comes off too for cleaning. We got to experience a deep car seat cleaning after a typical kid moment (my stomach hurts . . .). I really loved this seat after that.It is also narrower than most booster seats - nice if we have an extra passenger and have to squeeze in the back seat. If you have a larger child it might not be as comfortable for them as the seating area is smaller too.After this purchase, I bought one for my son as well. He is 5 and loves it too - although, he was sad to give up having 2 cup holders and the other 2 areas that he could put all his stuff (ie - gross sticky junk that I had to periodically clean/scrape out). PS - the cup holder comes off - you can wash it in the sink!

We absolutely love Love LOVE the Clek Olli Booster Car Seat (in Raspberry, so pretty)! It's wonderful that it's got such comfortable cushion that my daughters little bum doesn't go numb on long car trips. When she's not in the car, it's great that it doesn't slide off the seat when I stop, either, AND my daughter can actually buckle herself in now that the booster seat doesn't trap the buckle under it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We picked this up as a secondary travel seat. We have the Oobr with the seat back as our primary booster. This is a wonderfully constructed seat. It is so easy to click in the UAS, which is standard on most vehicles for added safety. The raspberry colour is fun, and the seat is well padded for my little girl's comfort. Plus the strappy thing makes it easy to transport. Best booster on the market, in my opinion.

No more numb bums is right! And the click lock is what truly makes this product safe!My 6-year old loves it....and the best part? She'd be able to use it for another 4 years at least
