Replacement for stock filler cap on my 07 SV650 track bike. Quick install and fits well. Unlock feature is intuitive and cap fits tightly. Much easier to open than simple screw-in caps, especially when the tank is pressurized from heat. Recent purchase so no idea about long-term performance.

Good quality for the price, doesn’t rattle around or anything while riding.

Alright installation was all of 10 minutes, but since it didn’t come with any paperwork here’s a quick write up with pictures:Remove the 3 socket head screws in the stock cap shown in the first photo using a 4mm Allen wrench.Hopefully your tank is in better condition than mine but if it isn’t, give the flange a good clean.The third photo shows the parts as received. Pretty simple, the cap itself, an o-ring, and 3 socket head screws.Install the small o-ring as shown in the fourth photo, it seals the port shown in the fifth photo.Remove the fuel filler cap from the flange and install the flange to the tank - it can only be oriented one way due to the hole pattern. Tighten each screw evenly to ensure the rubber seal doesn’t pinch.On the bottom of the fuel filler cap there’s a small bar that locks the cap onto the flange until it’s rotated properly to remove, shown in photo 6. Tighten the set screw using a 1.5mm Allen wrench and reinstall to the flange.

Fits good, but isn’t flat and flush against the tank it does protrude from the tank just a little more than the oem one but other than that it is great

I’m happy with the look of the product but I think I’ve had it on for 4-5 rides and there is a small screw that holds that long bar in place that turns when you open it. I went to get gas and I couldn’t get gas because it wouldn’t open. Once I took the whole entire thing apart that screw was gone and the pin was moving around keeping me from taking the gas cap off. I cannot get ahold of customer service to get a new screw. So there is a little screw hanging out in my gas tank! Really disappointed because I had it less than a month!

I had to buy a set of allen wrenches at the gas station because the pin that locks the gas cap slid all the way to one side preventing it from opening. Its a good concept with a major flaw
