🛡️ Cut the noise, keep the signal — own your urban spectrum!
The Flamingo+ FM v2 is a premium FM bandstop filter designed for SDR users facing interference from strong broadcast FM signals (88-108MHz). It delivers superior attenuation (>70dB max) while maintaining ultra-low insertion loss (<0.25dB) outside the stop band and minimal impact on adjacent VHF airband frequencies. Manufactured by Nooelec in North America, it comes with a 2-year warranty, making it the ideal choice for professionals and hobbyists in high-interference urban environments.

Definitely one of the best readily-available FM trap filters
Exceptionally good performance. Its VNA sweep was ideal for someone limiting FM broadcast signals while preserving VHF AIR performance. Very solid unit and worth every penny.

Cuts the bleed over and harmonics from over powered local FM stations
I have a local FM station 2 miles away that is running high power. The signal bleeds over into the Air Band and VHF-Hi in spots. This filter removes the false signals and cleans up the bands for me. Decent price, well packaged, and arrived on time. For SDR and scanner work it is worth having one.

Null out those local high power stations so you can hear the rest of the world!
Works well to null out the local 50kw FM broadcast station that was overloading my SDRs and causing them to de-sense.

Handy filter for LRPT NOAA reception
Not everyone needs this, but if you're in a metro area it might just save you. I was using a SAWBIRD NOAA and it would work sometimes, but most of the time I was swamped out by FM signals. I thought I had a frequency drift issue, but no, it was just OOB reception. Installing this filter between the antenna and the SAWBIRD amplifier really did the trick for rejecting the strong FM signals. My station works perfectly now.

Good, but has problems with strong FM signals
The Nooelec NESDR FM bandstop v2 is a good notch filter, but compared to the RTL-SDR FM bandstop in my area it just does not filter out some of the strong FM signals. Several strong FM stations are not filtered out in the upper 100+ MHz frequencies and this impacts the reception of aviation frequencies I am trying to listen to. Below the 100 MHz frequencies it does the same job as the RTl-SDR FM bandstop. It is still a good bandstop just get both to see which is better in your area first.

Eliminates FM Broadcast Station Overload on SDR Receiver
I use this filter to effectively remove reception interference on my RTL-SDR dongle and KiwiSDR receivers caused by strong local FM broadcast stations.

Good FM broadcast band stop filter
This puts a fairly deep notch in the spectrum at the broadcast FM band which may help if your SDR is having front end overload problems.

Great filter
I'm in the middle of the city, with a big mountain in front of me where all the city antennas are located, so all my reception includes some sort of comercial band FM interference, but with this filter I'm able to mitigate the problem, no at 100% because I have a radio station 3 blocks away, but with the rest of the RF spectrum works very well I really recommend connect this filter next to your SDR hardware using the connector included, I connected mine using a 20 cm cable with SMA Male to Male connectors and is more than enough to inyect FM interference again in the line, I was about to ask for a refund but it was my fault at first place
