This created the stickiest mess my kitchen has ever seen. The directions were followed and the result was a goop so sticky that I couldn't do anything with it. We tried adding more potato starch, but that did nothing. What a mess. This cost me how much?!I bought this for my little girl, who was hyped to make mochi treats. What a rip.

5 stars for taste and quality, -1 for not explaining how to keep things less messyI made the first batch and it got everywhere. The second time, I made some changes and it was way faster (45m) and less messy.Main thing to use the full amount of potato flour they tell you to, on the cutting board and your hands and constantly reapply to the dough. They really need to emphasize that more.Second, use a big cutting board, at least slightly larger than 8 of the cutting circles.I’d also recommend latex glovesI also used mine several months past the expiration date and it was perfectly goodYou could just get the ingredients but the items in this are well thought out and make a great gift— the instructions though assume too much competence!

My company sent this to me as we are working from home as a gift. I spent 3 hours making a mess in the kitchen trying to make mochi ice cream. The instructions are just some text that really could have used some images to help better explain what you're suppose to do. The image they show looks like store bought ice cream mochi but if you follow their instructions what you end up making is more like a mochi Dim sum.Just save yourself the headache and frustration and go to the store and buy some, this kit is not beginner friendly AT ALL.

it was very chaotic to make, it exploded everywhere, i went to the hospital bc it hurt my brain, i think i got a brain bleed from this terrible product. i can no longer see with my eyes bc my ears decided to die on me. this product is terrible i DONT recommend buying this bc i didnt either.
