Better product than brand X
In addition to no staining, I found this to be a better product for reasons: 1) particle size is uniform making it easy to apply evenly using a hand held rotary spreader, 2) it creates no iron dust in the air during application.

Yellow leaves are turning green again!
So far, so good. A few of our fruit trees had yellowing leaves, despite good soil and a normal regimen of NPK fertilizer. From what I read online, it seemed like an iron deficiency was the likely culprit. I scattered the iron pellets around the bases of all the trees, and a few weeks later I am definitely seeing good results. Our lemon tree in particular has gotten much greener and is producing new growth and flowers.

Worth the money!
Provides desperately needed iron to local sandy soils here in Central Florida, especially if you're growing pineapples. The rainy season here leeches whatever nutrients are in the soil so this product is essential. Apply cautiously ..follow the instructions...especially when using on your lawn...it turns everything green! It's wonderful stuff!

Slow, but visible results
I used it for climbing vines that had become yellowed and wilted in the summer heat and for a Sago palm in a pot. Although the vines in the ground did well and all leaves are perky, dark green and have added new growth the poor Sago is still yellow. It could be the Sago is beyond help by now since temps have been at 106°F for 2 weeks now.

Solved my problem
In Hawaii, the soil is often alkaline and low in iron. My citrus trees showed lack of iron in their leaves and the fruit production was inconsistent. I tried spray on iron supplements and other liquid iron supplements. Those had only temporary benefits. I suspect it was because most got washed into the soil before the trees could take it up. These granules are slow to release and hold up well over time and rain. I noticed a difference in a week and the iron seems to last a long time.
