Excellent pad to practice calligraphy
Can see though the paper to a guide sheet placed below. Works great with walnut ink. Some inks will bleed.

Use it for lettering practice and it works really well.

Not that good for Flex Nib Fountain Pens, But...
I'm using this pad for coming up with motifs and designs. My flex nib fountain pens don't work well on this paper...too much feathering. But, WOW...i love how crisp and hard edged my Parallel Pens look on it! And super smooth application. I'll buy it again for use with my Parallel Pens...really great!
