Great Bone Blanks
These are great bone blanks, very dense with nice tone.I just used one to make a replacement saddle for a KamakaGold Label Soprano that I restored to proper playing condition. Someone had filed the original saddle down far too low. The original saddle has a nice translucent look to it. I was able to match the look with one of the blanks and made a replacement saddle that, with all of my other repairs, really brought this instrument to life.

Anybody working on gibson guitars needs these...
I used one to replace the plastic nut on Epiphone Les Paul Custom. Worked perfect. A 1" bench sander is very helpful to trim the width and radius the top edges prior to installation. Bone results in noticeable sound improvement on open strings!

I Replaced the Nut on My Epiphone Les Paul
This product worked out perfectly. I really wanted to try something different form the ABS plastic nut that came with mt Epiphone LP 100. These are a longer then the original, but the other measurements were perfect. I set the nut up using the original ABS nut as a template, and then I bought some Nomad brand files to make the grooves. It was a lot easier with the Nomad brand nut files. I spent hours without them and hadn't finished, but I was done in 15 minutes after the Nomads arrived. I have some other projects to finish on the guitar before I get to try it out for tone, and volume, but I bet it is better than ABS.

Great price, great product
I have used several packs of these and their nut blanks and they have all come without nicks or obvious weak spots. Out of a dozen, 2 or 3 were slightly warped but had enough material that they could be accurately planed and still be a perfect fit for the slots.

Clean, clear, and solid
These bone slabs are oversized and solid with no splintering or other flaws. Perfect for hand-fitting a new nut and saddle for an existing guitar or for a new build. Arrived on time, well packaged, and exactly as described. Excellent transaction.

Good blanks
Saw some bad reviews about the blanks being greasy or something? Not sure how often that happens, but mine are fine. They are all different shades of bone colors and all seem usable. Fit a nut slot on an Epiphone Les Paul special dead perfect with no sanding..I was surprised. I used the yellowest piece in the pack. Here's what it looks like finished and polished. I ended up ordering more.

real bone with a nice colour blend
I'm always fixing ukuleles and my guitars because no one seems to know what intonation is. I bought these tofix a floating bridge on a resonator ukulele. Kind of a tough job, not for beginners. anyway i just sized up the bonesaddle and ended up having enough for a bridge and a nut from one piece, cool. then filed to size and tweakedone of the strings intonation (low G) with a dremel. now its sounds great and is actually easier to play now!I still have 5 pieces for more projects. Oh and it only took a week, it says from china but must have had them atamazon warehouse. Thanks!

👍 OK
Bone not as dense as expected but will do the job. May not be as durable over time but

They're a good deal
They're all dead straight. I have had ones that were warped. I turned my belt sander over and twenty minutes later had one shaped the profile I needed to suit a friends classical guitar.
