Beginner's Guide To Selling On Ebay: (Sixth Edition - Updated for 2020) (Home Based Business Beginner Guide Books)

The title was promising, as I know very little about selling on eBay. And much of the content meets the goal of conveying the rudiments, which is useful. That said, and admittedly speaking as a professional writer / editor (okay, I'm retired, but still...), the book needs tightening and proofreading--repetitive content, typos and, a pet peeve of mine: excessive use of the exclamation point! Still, it's good to have such a resource for those of us who are intimidated by the prospect of selling on eBay. But I'll likely return it and scope out eBay for Dummies.

I was looking for information about selling my stuff on Ebay. Most books focus on starting an Ebay business, as does this one. But it has the basic information I needed and it is an easy read. You can get the basic info on the Ebay site, but that information is not organized very well and it's easy to get overwhelmed.Also, this book has been updated to include recent changes at Ebay so I feel like I have good information to act on in my online garage sale.

Some of this may seem very basic, but if you started selling without reading this book first I bet you would miss quite a few things. It's a fast and easy read. I got out my highlighter and marked everything that I thought was useful and then I created my account and started selling.

For anyone selling on eBay, this book is a must have! Ann does the reselling financial report daily on YouTube, I don't start my day until I hear it. Ann is like listening to your best gal friend, very down to earth and a pleasure to listen to.I highly recommend her books and her daily podcast.Tina Sullivan

I bought this book after selling on ebay for several months. I wanted to increase my profits. Not everything in the book was doable for me, but there were many,many helpful and easy suggestions. In the first 2 weeks of using some of the ideas in the book, I have already sold more items. It is worth buying to get some great help.

Used it to get hatted fast and sell something on EBay

I wanted to know how to get started in selling on Ebay and it was a great concise reference book to answer most of my questions to getme started. I also went back to look over parts when I was setting up my first item and then after selling and shipping. Also an inexpensive way to find out if it is something you really want to get into ebay selling as on outside looks confusing until you get into the detailsof the transactions in book and then you can decide if Ebay is right for you.

I’m not a beginner to eBay, but I am a beginner to the idea of making money for profit so I bought this book (and binge watched Ann’s YouTube channel). Both have been so helpful in giving me the encouragement and information I still needed to pursue this as an income stream. I’m so excited to get started! I’ll definitely read other books of hers.

Very interesting book

The book was very clearly written and to the point - a significant proportion of it was specific to the US situation (re mailing options). The hints and tips were useful. Not too long and no undue waffle. Worth getting.

Very informative on how to get started selling on eBay. Very easy to read. So far, a lot of great tips that I hope to put into practice soon. Ann Eckhart has a wealth of knowledge and presents things in a very down-to-earth manner.
