Really the only Girl band I can stand
That's coming from a lot since I am mainly a rock dude. I like them because they defiantly have rock influence compared to other girl groups like the Pussycat Dolls. Here in the US, All Saints only had two songs that charted, "Never Ever" and "I Know Where It's At" Personally, I think that is crazy since "Pure Shores" is really their best and most catchy song. Their cover of Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Under The Bridge" defiantly adds a new spin on the old tune but overall, it was unnecessary. I was introduced to this band from one of the members, Nicole Appleton, being married to Liam Gallagher of Oasis (which I am a huge fan of) Natalie Appleton is also married to Liam Howlett of The Prodigy (which I enjoy as well) so it made since that I give All Saints a shot. "Pure Shores" was totally recognized because it was in Grand Theft Auto 5, and the rest is much deserving of credit and surprisingly impressive. It's a shame that they have broken up multiple times (however, they are now supposedly back together) If your into Pop music then you'll love this ablum. If your into Rock music like me, it is defiantly worth giving All Saints a shot.

The anti Spice Girls!!!
Where there was the Spice Girls there was also All Saints. Whereas Spice Girls were not always the most fashionable girlband, All Saints were hip, cool and had swagger, the girlband you were allowed to like. Although they couldn't compete with the Spice dominance they were also on the winning team finishing with 5 UK #1's and 9 UK top tens overall (twentyfourseven is Mel Blatt solo but included in set).'Pure Shores' the main pop theme from the 2000 Leonardo DiCaprio film 'The Beach' is quite arguably the greatest girlband track from the 90's onwards. A dream like trance pop slice of perfection that captured the attention of even non pop fans and rivalved their own global chart topper 'Never Ever'.The Spice Girls may have influenced every Brit girlband that followed but All Saints also showed the way in terms of changing and experimenting more so than the safety net of the Spice's bubblegum pop.In 1998 the group won Best New Act and in the year 2000 Best Pop Act at the European Music Awards.'Never Ever' also went on to win Best British Video and also Single at The Brits (UK Grammys) in 1998.Fun Fact: 'Never Ever' was featured in the Guinness World Records for Top British Singles. The song sold well over a million copies in the UK. However due to it's long chart run and climb 770,000 copies were sold before it became #1, more than any other single had sold before reaching the summit in UK chart history! As of 2017 place on all time top 10 UK girlband sales (albums/singles): Albums #6 / Singles #4.As of 2017 currently the 6th highest selling girlband in British chart history.Career album/singles sales in UK: 2.3 million/2.9 million = 5.2 million1.Pure Shores: UK#1 (4th),2.Never Ever: UK#1 (1st), (over a million seller in the UK)3.Under The Bridge: UK#1 (2nd) (Double A side with LM),4.Lady Marmalade: UK#1 (2nd) (Double A side with UTB),7.Black Coffee: UK#1 (5th),8.Bootie Call: UK#1 (3rd).

What the title says - ALL hits!
Greatest hits collection usually span around 5 or more albums - that's not the case with this one!The All Saints collection 'All Hits' spans the best of just 2 amazing classic pop albums! This is a collection you can listen throughout the duration and not feel the need to skip any tracks. Nearly all of these songs are still played on radio and music channels which is pretty rare seeing as not many pop acts from 5 years ago can say they are a still a regular fixture on radio etc.All Saints, at the time were so different from their other pop counterparts, they delivered pop with a dirty, slick urban feel and paved the way for future girl groups such as Sugababes, who themselves are yet to release a poor album or single. The album is started with my personal All Saints favourite 'Pure Shores', the backing music, the harmonies, everything about this song is pure perfection. This is followed by 'Never Ever', possibly one of the best pop ballads of all time, this was easily the Saints' biggest hit spending over 20 weeks on the UK chart alone and smashing into the US Billboard Top 10!From there on the hits just keep coming! The best of which are the slick, sexy cover of Red Hot Chili Peppers' classic 'Under The Bridge', debut single 'I Know Where It's At' and the quite simply AMAZING 'Black Coffee'.All Saints only released 8 singles (5 of which #1's) so the inclusion of Melanie Blatt's collaboration with Artful Dodger on the mesmerising 'Twentyfourseven' and the 'Pure Shores' remix are not too surprising but also don't tamper with the flow of the album.Greatest Hits collections are a favourite with a lot of people and 'All Hits' is definately one of the best I've ever heard.

Interesting chapter of British female vocal groups
All Saints were by many considered a more sophisticated answer to Spice Girls, following the latter’s strong onslaught a year later, in 1997. The intelligent pop with slightly electronic/indie hints had their peak in such songs as “Pure Shores” (from Leo DiCaprio movie “The Beach”), the ballad “Never Ever” and the remakes of “Lady Marmalade” or Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ “Under the Bridge”. The idea and flair of the quartet was healthy, and summoned songwriters and producers as strong as Nellee Hooper and William Orbit. But All Saints career virtually ended after two albums, which this compilation just about signalled. Significantly, one of the best tunes is the energetic “24/7”, where the main act, in fact, was Artful Dodger (ft Melanie Blatt). For the turn-of-the-century pop, however, this outfit served its due.

All Hits - Always Appropriate!
Years ago, I bought this CD basically to find out a bit more about the lovable All Saints. Years later, I found the same CD on a shelf in my bedroom, put it in my stereo and pressed 'play' and waited for the glorious sounds to arrive - my god, what a great batch of tracks! "Pure Shores" has a soulful sound, whilst "Lady Marmalade (98 Remix)" is a superiour cover of the disco original, a definite must-have in my good-books! "I Know Where It's At (Original Mix)" has the ladies in fine vocal sounds, whilst "Pure Shores (2 Da Beach U Stop Remix)" gives listeners the impression that that the hip-hoppers are back in town and it's all over now, but a few minutes later, surprise surprise, two 'hidden' tracks appear in the form of "I Feel You" and "Dreams", and then, it's defintely the end - for now anyway. All in all, a superiour CD has just left the building, but if you want to find out a bit more about this top-notch girlie group, this is defintely your calling card! Brilliant - and definately recommended!

Familiar favourites
Just great to have these songs on one album. Nostalgic but still great.

Not worth a penny plus postage, such a pity.
My apologies to the real fans, but I'm, being honest, here. I remember when they started, I was very drawn to their beautiful voices, and all pretty ladies. Sadly, looking back now, they were a flash in the pan. So much potential, almost none of it actually realised. I like Never Ever, and Lady Marmalade. I wouldn't even say the 'bonus' DVD is worth getting.

All Stars
Arguably one of the greatest girl groups of all time their material still stands scrutiny today and you'll find most of their hits on this excellent compilation.Puppydog is right to point out that the video clips on the free bonus DVD are short but she exaggerates: the six videos are all between 2 and 3 minutes. There are also some free bonus remixes. Hey sister go...
