It works
A lot is said about engine additives etc, I use this in a 4 cyl pu truck that was running poorly and was told it needed a $3,200 valve and head work. I started using this with every oil change and saved a lot of money.

I was skeptical
I used this product at recommendation of an auto store because my 02 Nissan Sentra was burning oil. I first put it in at 1st oil change my car is older had her since new. I added another can this last oil change and I can say she runs smoother and no burning oil. I live in the Midwest and the car is getting expensive to keep going the winters are slowly killing her eventually it will be time to get a new one but due to $ I need her to keep running for now. This stuff worked well and she runs better then before it's not a miracle fix but it sure did te trick for now, I can't say you'll have the same results but for the price I'm happy with mine she runs smoother no burning oil and has a lot more power. Until I can afford a new car she's doing well due to this and I'm happy

Seems to work quite well.
I use this product with every other oil change. My chevy 1.4 L turbo runs perfectly, all original, 240K.Maybe im lucky, but I will not mess with success.

It works with limitations.
Restore works but it's ability diminishes pretty quickly on motors that are beyond salvation. The oil rings are shot in my Nissan, it has 180k miles on the odo so Restore really only lasts about 500 miles before oil starts disappearing again. Restore works best on newer motors that by design use a little oil, it would help in that situation.

Mid-2000s Subarus are junk, but this stuff helps
Back in, I dunno, maybe 2012, my wife's mom gave her the old 2006 Forester. Now, I personally have a loathing for Subarus—I think they're unreliable junk and cost a fortune to keep on the road—but I'm not gonna turn down a free car. A month after she signed the title over, I wound up putting almost $5000 into it because among other things the head gasket went.Y'know, 'cause it's a Subaru, and the main thing that Subarus do is blow head gaskets. Well, here we are ten years after THAT, and I've been throwing money into this pit ever since. This damned Forester that I'd sooner hurl into the sun got to the point where I was basically putting a quart of oil a week into it. I'm not a mechanic by any means, and I have no idea where this oil was going. It wasn't coming out on the driveway, and it wasn't coming out the tailpipe if the smog test results of the last few years are to be believed. Yet, every so often I pop my wife's hood and the dipstick is *bone dry.*My kid's boyfriend is a big car guy—and incidentally, kind of a Subaru nut, but we all have our faults—and he swears by this stuff. Boy Scout's honor and all. So I took a shot at it. A couple of bottles of Restore later, a little bit every time the oil gets changed out completely (or whenever I had to dump 3 or more quarts into it) it doesn't do that any more.I also put a bit into my Avalon after I didn't drive it for about a year during the pandemic. My Avalon's a great car but if you don't even start your car for the better part of a year, the seals are gonna dry up, and the car's gonna start dripping. Steadily doing the thing with some Restore over a year or so really helped a ton.So, while I'm generally pretty skeptical of potions that you just pour in and supposedly make your car better, this one actually does help slow leakage down. I wouldn't expect noticeable performance differences, though. Certainly I haven't seen anything like that.

Product failed / Good customer service
I ran the oil low on my 2009 Mini Cooper S, 51K miles. So after an oil change (at a mechanic) a friend suggested I add this to my car to help restore my engine if the low oil had caused any problems. After adding Restore and starting my engine, the car immediately started shaking violently back and forth (a problem it's never had before). I immediately stopped driving the car, and after a quick Google search this seems to be a problem with others using Restore as well.I had the car towed to a mechanic who performed an oil change, and the car began to run without issue again. According to the mechanic, Restore was too thick for the 2009 Mini Cooper S and was blocking the oil from the pistons.I called restore and thankfully they refunded me for the product and oil change.

not sure how this works but the ancient motorcycle engine stopped smoking and burning oil
Its like magic which makes the engineer in me nervous. Its only been 1 season but so far, all good.
