I was so hoping this would be better than the KUNA. Not. It took several hours to get it online-it was not made clear that the app connects to the wifi CURRENTLY connected to your phone....the "connected to "Uknown SSD" threw me off. - Kuna shows you multiple wifi connectrions which do not show when searching for SSIDs on this device..) Also, the app and instructions for the Freecam really, really suck. I would have continued the installation but when opening the app you don't see the live shot. Clicking the screen brings that up. The kicker for me was setting the detection zones.....on a generic picture of somebody else's house. I could not figure out how to see the live shot to set the zones. That and not seeing thumbnails of the recordings was enough for me.......I am going to stick with a hard wired system even though i don't like camera poking out of my house....the reason i liked the Kuna and this one was how unobtrusive the camersa are - hidden in side the lamp. Will wait for the next generation of such a device.

Fist tried the Greenie light. False alarm every two minutes. Customer service was useless. Then tried this Freecam product. A very unobtrusive product. Nice that the camera rotates on the fixture. Mounting is very east. Software set up a breeze. I like the fact that it has a built in memory so the "cloud" is unnecessary. Quality of the pictures is quite adequate. I have it mounted half way up my enclosed entryway which is 40 long and 9 feet wide. I have it pointed out the entry way onto my driveway. It picks up movement and starts recording within two seconds. Something the Greenie light failed to do quickly enough. My driveway is about 90 feet. I had to decrease the sensitivity to low because the motion sensor would trip when my neighbor drove from his driveway. Sensitiviy can be programmed on a grid to block out areas...like my neighbor's driveway. In the two weeks I have had this I am quite pleased. I even painted it to match the wall...laxtex paint adhered very well. No complaints.

It does what it is supposed to do. Only complaint is that the camera sits right next to the door, but does not see the door within it's range.

You will have to get cloud service to record anything. Not much of a view. Will never buy again. Actually looking for someone to buy it from me.

We have now had these for right at a year. They were easy to install, but a little difficult to program. You must have the 2.4gh internet for them to work. But there is a major defect in them and the company was not helpful in solving the issue. At first we bought 3. One burned out in 6 months and one started flashing like a strobe light. There is no way to replace bulbs or get to those parts. When I finally got to the company, they said to send them a video. Hummm, duh, you cant do that by email. I put video up on youtube, Amazon removed the link from my email to the company. So, how am I supposed to show a "strobe light" in still photos. How can I prove that I am turning on the light and it wont come on in still photos?After 16 emails, being told they would honor the 1 year warranty even though it ran out during the time we were trying to get "evidence" to them, in the end - they wanted me to pay to ship the lights back to China, have no lighting on my home for however many weeks this was going to take, and they might send me new ones.I don't think so. I bought another one to replace the burned out one. ITS A DAMN STROBE LIGHT TOO. So now I have THREE BAD LIGHTS. $410 later my front yard is a disco every night, but the cameras are good and we did catch the creep who broke into our truck, so thanks for that much.

Great flood light and camera! The flood light brightness is spectacular and the camera feed quality is better than expected. Unfortunately, the app needs a lot of work. The communication/talk function doesn't work, the detection sensitivity at its lowest level is HIGHLY sensitive (which causes a lot of recordings and constant flood light activation), and the notifications function (push notifications) does not work despite being promoted in the product description and installation videos. If the app is updated to fix these issues, it would be a 5 star review on my part. Otherwise, it makes more sense to invest a little more on a proven Security flood light and camera system.

In the first few days of use, the resolution came out pretty unhappy and slow, preparing to return it when my house having done an internet service plan change, the resolution got much better and clear since then, I would suggest to equip with a higher internet speed instead of the very basic. it only records when sensor detects motions, saving my time to go through every single second compare to my old one, anf the built-in 16GB storage is considerably enough. The object analysis feature is pretty useful and customizable for preventing wrong alerts. About a month now, so far so good, will follow up for further using experience.

Installed product and it looked great. Motion light worked fine and picture was good. Signed up for clod storage which was reasonably priced. Noted that the light would come on with motion, but unit would not send an alert. Rebooted, but still no alerts. Emailed manufacturer (no phone contact available) and they emailed back asking for order number, model, and photo of unit. Sent them that and....... Nothing. Waited 3 days, emailed them again. Waited another day and they asked for same info I already sent. Waited 2 more days, same thing again. Sent info 3rd time, still noting. Went through Amazon customer service (they were great) and rebooted, then tried factory reset. Won't even connect to WiFi now. Amazon could not get manufacturer on phone either, and they have 2 day response to their request. Forget it! Sending item back and ordered on from different manufacturer. Not pleased with this product. Hopefully the eufy works better!
