Architectural Mailboxes Mapleton Galvanized Steel Post Mount Mailbox, Compatibility Code F, 7900-2GR-R-10, Graphite, Large Capacity

This LARGE sized mailbox was an easy way to change the entire look of a small area. The mailbox is sturdy, fits larger packages than my previous standard box, but also is not huge and bulky looking like the EXTRA large sized mailboxes. I paired this with the Architectural Mailboxes #7516B-10 Pacifica in-ground steal mailbox post, black (on Amazon). The post’s bracket was a perfect fit and it was so easy to attach by just opening the mailbox door and putting screws through the bottom of the mailbox As with most mass produced items, one of the holes connecting the bracket to the POST did not line up. I drilled the hole a bit larger so the last screw could be placed. This was NOT an easy feat because both the mailbox, pole and bracket are made of TOUGH TOUGH STEEL!! I used a brand new drill bit and much patience! This mailbox is secured soundly. It’s not going to budge. For my custom look (our home is grey and white) I spray painted the pole white. The pole is not cemented in and sits level and sturdy. Finally the project was finished off with artificial fake monkey grass flowers. ( Alyptus store on Amazon) and Biling solar outdoor lights (Biling store on Amazon). Mailbox setups can be quite expensive if you want to add a little extra flair to your landscape plan. These were well priced items.

Like the size, nice and roomy. Also like the handle for opening and closing the box. i know it will never rust, and should stay as beautiful as it is today for years to come

This mailbox is a decent size, seems to be quality made and is attractive. It comes with zero mounting hardware.I'm sure if the buyer needs to attach this mailbox to a pole, they know they need to buy a pole. But if you already have a pole or elsewhere to mount the mailbox, you're going to need some hardware. I needed to cut a piece of 2 x 6 board to length and get two sets of screws from my local hardware store.

I was concerned I'd receive a dented mailbox like other reviews stated but it arrived dent-free. It's a nice size and color. I really like it and would not hesitate to purchase.

I could’ve bought one at the local hardware store for $39 but I thought this would be a lot heavier by the description? It turned out to be just a piece of light tin that looks OK. The handle for the lid is made out of plastic very cheap. They are probably bought from China and imported in? I would not make this purchase again.
