National Geographic Kids Ultimate Weird but True!: 1,000 Wild & Wacky Facts and Photos

I got a few of these books several years ago for my children. They have outgrown them, and they are now in my classroom library. They are still in good shape. Great for reluctant/ struggling readers. They are high interest, and students will read the captions without feeling like they are reading.

My son loves Weird But True, Guinness World Records, Tell Me Why, and similar types of books. This book is what it promises to be...just tons and tons of random, weird, and interesting facts. It's a large hardcover book, very sturdy, and very good quality. My son loves to just pick it up for a couple of minutes here and there, during some down time. It's not indexed or even intended to be a reference book of any sort, it's entertainment, and it serves its purpose wonderfully! Made for a great gift this year!

A good book of interesting facts. Not a book that has to be read in a sitting or even sequentially. It can be picked up at any time, from time to time, and is a good way to spend your time.

This came in 1 day! I was shocked even for Prime! The book is a beautiful hard cover , colorful & attractive . Tons of exciting pics & info for kids of ALL AGES!! I'm learning a lot, lol ! It keeps kids attention & the pictures are really nice. It's easy enough to read but it's not a "baby book" , older kids will enjoy the facts & weird interesting tidbits as well as younger ones. It was well worth the price! Recommend for all ages to stimulate reading!! Jenn~

This is an AMAZING book for kids! I bought this for my son who loves learning fun facts especially about animals and this book has it all. It’s a great quality, large hardcover book with so many pages of interesting facts. I highly recommend this product!

Got this book for a 6 year old boy and 8 year old girl. Both of them loved it. The 6 year old said it was "the best book ever!" (beginning reader, loves the pictures). The 8 year old is better able to read it, and didn't put the book down from delivery until bedtime. She is always telling us the fun things she read about in the book, like "did you know there is a cat who lives in hawaii and likes to surf??" and "that there is a white alligator with blue eyes??".Needless to say I went back online and ordered the 2nd book in the ultimate weird but true series.

I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my 12yr old grandson. Very high quality - hard cover, full colour photos and strong pages. The weird facts are perfect for kids and interesting fir adults as well. Highly recommend!

I gave this to my grandson for his 8th birthday. His nose was in it straight away and he loves dipping in a reading out facts.Great success. Would recommend.
