I have bought 3 different kayak leashes For my paddle which is an ascend. I had issues with them not being large enough to fit the diameter of my paddle or they were just plain junk. This particular type is made well and works well. The coiled type works better because it doesn't hang down and get in the way.

Works great. Used it all last season and it's still going strong. I used it during some heavy ocean wave surfing in my kayak, dumped a few times but never lost the paddle.

Price is ok, the only thing I didn't like is the clip is too cheap.not for a gaft,you may loose it on a big fish.
