Great little trimmer
I’m back to scrapbooking and my old trimmer has finally given up.I found looking for a new one exhausting. Every time I found one I like with loads of positive reviews. I’d look closer and find the terrible 1* reviews. Claiming it rips not cuts etc.I mean seriously how can a trimmer get such contrasting reviews?I couldn’t wait any longer so I picked this one. There’s only one actual review but by this point I’d almost given up the will to live.Too dramatic?I know but it’s ridiculous.The trimmer itself is great. I realise now I should have changed it ages ago. Getting a good clean cut with just one swipe is amazing.It’s taken me a little while to adjust since it’s different to my old one. I found I was pressing on the cutting blade too hard. The white plastic was therefore pushing against the photo and it wouldn’t cut.Also the cutting area is between the “ruler” this has caused a couple of near misses. My previous one was above.I’m really happy with this trimmer. It cuts photos and thin card cleanly and easily. Replacement blades are available on Amazon so I’m going to stock up. I like the quick clean cut.

You get what you pay for
I use this to trim photos, or did. It's pretty rubbish really. I've never cut more than one photo at a time and wouldn't risk it anyway. Sometimes, if you're not concentrating, it ruffles the photos up (can't think of a better word; like tugging at it with a blunt object). At best, it cuts fine but I then need to go back and cut a couple of mms off with a creating knife because it leaves a white line of paper if that makes sense.

Good cutter just doesn’t hold much paper
Does not take much paper, perfect for personal use, not so good for me as was using it for work at a school so needed a cutter that can handle more paper
