Aarja Health - Vitamin C 500 with Zinc, Rosehip, and Arctic Chaga Extract, Natural Immune System Support, 100 Easy-to-Swallow Tablets

Seems to be a quality product made in Finland. However, a bit of a rough texture to the tablets. Because I sometimes have difficulty swallowing anything large I gave these a try thinking that as only 500 mg they would be small enough but I sometimes have trouble swallowing them and one has made me gag. I notice they also contain something called chaga which is a mushroom type of tree fungus which I don't like the look of even though it has apparently many benefits. I'll give the rest of the tablets away to someone I know.

I have been taking vitamins and supplements of all shapes and sizes and never had I had a problem with swallowing them!However this one is truly impossible to swallow! Somehow always tends to get stuck in my throat and then I have to drink thick yoghurts to get it down.I do like the idea that they haven't used any additives and it has wonderful chaga in it but they really need to so something to make the pills a bit smoother.

I found this so hard to swallow that I dreaded taking it. It would sometimes stick in my throat and really worry me. Why so large? Couldn't two at a time instead of one be just as good. Stopped taking it for this reason.

These taste good and have a strong citrus smell so I’m hopeful they a legitimate. Easy to swallow, I try to take them daily for inflammation reasons. Nice packaging but would be better if the plastic container was glass

I was surprised that one reviewer said that these were easy to swallow, and another that they had a pleasant taste. These tablets are extremely large and have no external coating, so they don’t slide down easily. The lack of a coating also means they start to disintegrate in the mouth, and to me they taste revolting. They presumably do the business, but I have been happily taking zinc and vitamin C tablets of various makes , of the same dosage, for several years and they have all been a fraction of this size, easy to swallow and pleasant tasting. I won’t be buying these again.

Never have a problem swallowing any tablets...... until these....! Even broken in half they still stick in your throat.

Really difficult to swallow and if you don't get it down on first go, it dissolves in your mouth and it's very bitter. It does seem to work otherwise as a supplement, and haven't felt to be at risk of a deficiency while using it but I switched brands after I ran out.
