Nothing wrong with mine!
I was a little nervous about buying a non Arlo product for my Arlo Ultra but there are no regrets to be had here. In truth I was just after the cable with a view to temporary connections to charge the camera batteries in situ. I purposely mounted the cameras so I could reach them from the upstairs windows without needing to bring out the ladder everytime. I used the Arlo charger to be on the safe side, but for the second camera used this product's charger. I think the Arlo charger was faster charging, but all in all, good performance from the HOLACA. No issues! Update 04/12/2020 This adapter and cable appear to be drawing mixed verdicts. I am not sure why or what could be happening with the charging process that users are experiencing issues. For context, I initially purchased the combined adapter and cable for my Arlo Ultra security system before purchasing an additional cable on its own a few months later in the Black Friday deals. I have to say I did get caught out by the description and assumed I would be getting both adapter and cable again, but apparently I had selected cable only this time and fortunately for me, it is all I needed as the Arlo Ultra did come with its own Power adapter and indoor cable. I believe the description is misleading and Amazon would do well to advertise the two items separately To get to the heart of this update, I use the outdoor cables for occasional charging of the batteries in situ (with camera running). I have had no issues but did observe that the cables become a little stiff in very cold weather and I do wonder if this could explain some of the intermittent disconnects that some users have observed. This is a pure guess as some reviews are from summer months. I hasten to add that as my cables are used for occasional charging, they are not fixed to any structure. I simply run them through the nearest window and down (not up) to the camera. Seems to work well. At this point, I would like to comment on the Arlo OEM adapter and cable which come with the system because I observed a couple of .. let's call them issues .. early on. I am sharing these observations in case they help explain some of the issues cited in some of the negative reviews. Firstly, the Arlo OEM adapter is modular, enabling you to fit a UK style 3-pin plug or other, making it portable, a great feature. However, I found that it was easy to cause an intermittent disconnection during the act of pushing the cable into the adapter of the adapter into the socket because it doesn't quite latch in place and a couple of millimetres misalignment seemed enough to cause a disconnection. The Holaca adapter is a single module so does not have the above issue. Secondly, at the camera end, the magnetic connector needs to be well aligned. I found listening out for the click was not always enough and it is certainly easy enough to walk away once one hears the click believing all was well and job done. I found it was necessary to ensure correct alignment and a positive connection. I observed this misalignment issue with the first Holaca cable simply because it was the only outdoor cable I had. Having this awareness has meant I am mindful of the potential connection issues that could arise and therefore double check them physically and seek confirmation from the Arlo app that the cameras are happy and charging. I found it takes about 4-6 hours to charge a battery from circa 25% to 100% with the camera in use. This probably does depend on how "busy" the camera is. I will add here that the Arlo batteries do not really seem to last that long, especially if the camera is an area with active traffic so I am looking to install the cables permanently. This might reveal new issues in which case this review will be updated further. Pros: Long cable, certified for use outdoors, cost saver compared to the OEM adapter and cables Cons: Cable tends to become a little stiff in cold weather - probably not an issue if permanently fixed Verdict: Still no issues with the Holaca adapter and cables for Arlo Pro 3 and Arlo Ultra.

Keeps outdoor camera powered all the time
These power cables are really convenient in powering my arlo cameras constantly. The lengths are great in reaching some of my harder-to-reach cameras. I have had no problems with the quality and they fit nicely onto the cameras. Would definitely buy more if I need to at the price.

Very long charging cable, ideal for routing through a window for charging
Very long charging cable, ideal for routing through a window for charging. The cameras do not have a long usage time on full charge, so mounted them near the upstairs windows, I can lean out, plug them in and the longer cable allows me to thread them through the small window and leave it on first lock without trapping the cable. This means I can leave it to charge from solar panels in the day time when not at home. The original cable is far too short of be of any practical use.

Cheaper than arlo cables
Bought a 3 pack of wassingstien cables but needed 4 ,so bought this extra one.. 25 feet length, (dont underestimate how much cable you need to do a neat job) . This cable seems more or less the same as the others I bought and again as with the others early days but seem good quality and working well.

Good camera
A good camera, very clear picture and quite small. I doubt the battery will last 6months, so less than the 1 year claimed, but still pretty good. To get the alerts and recordings you need to sign up to the monthly Arlo subscription after the free introductory period.
