The strings last for a long time!
Here's how the strings sound. This may be one of the best strings I've used in my life. I play a percussive style like Marcin, so the thickness of the strings makes the sound more complete and loud. I actually brought some friends over after I brought the strings, and they complimented the sound. All the other strings I've used during my years of guitar playing were just cheap $4 or $5 strings. After using Elixir once, I don't find myself using any other strings than this. Also, I have had these strings on for about 4 months now and there is little to no sign of rusting. This is really amazing because all the previous cheap strings I've used usually rust in about 1-2 weeks. I'd definitely recommend buying this. Since the thick strings make the playing a bit difficult, I'd recommend you buy the lower gauges if you're a beginner because they are lighter and still sound the same as this one.

Music is subjective. This review is too. I hated it!
I was very excited about moving to these strings. But I hated playing on it. To my ears it felt like the sound lost all its warmth. Maybe I should've tried the light ones, but these were too hard to play. It nearly made me stop loving my guitar. The thing is you do it and see if you enjoy it. There's no right or wrong way. Just see if you're enjoying it. This one wasn't for me.

These are the best coated strings available.
I've been using Elixirs since they first came out. I've tried all the copycat coated strings out there, and none compare to the longevity and tone of Elixirs. No, they do not replace uncoated strings in all situations. If you are in a studio in front of good condenser mics, playing quality, fresh, uncoated strings will sound better hands down, no contest. If you are gigging live using piezos, or SM58's, or about any other pickup I've tried, you can't hear any significant difference. You won't save any money, but you will cut down on the hassle of constant string changes. If you're learning guitar, or just noodling around in your spare time, these are perfect. More time playing, less time changing strings or suffering dead tone cause you don't want to deal with the hassle. How long they last depends on how you play. If you pound away with a pick it'll be a lot less than if you finger-pick with your nails and finger tips. In any case, they last a lot longer than uncoated.

Parasını hakediyor
Elixir'den sakın şaşmayın pahalı olabilir ama kullanım ömrü açısından yarışabilecek bir tel markası olduğunu düşünmüyorum paranızı kesinlikle hak eden bir ürün
