A really great vintage handbook - I just wish I'd read it when I started buying vintage years ago! For a start there's so much useful information - how to look after vintage when many fabrics are unfamiliar to us, how to deal with stains (and far worse), measurements - because of course we are completely different sizes from those tiny-waisted ladies of old, where to get it … But it's also fun - and realistic - with chapters if you're not a vintage purist (and I'm not) on mixing modern and vintage. Loads of colourful pics - and the author isn't afraid to dress up and model herself! A really useful handbook.
