I bought this as a small gift for Christmas. The kids were supposed to take it to school and prank a few of their friends by saying, "Look at this awesome gift from my Dad." Well they couldn't wait so just after Christmas dinner they showed their Aunt Ang. She fell over an ottoman trying to get away. Then she couldn't get up because of the horrible angle in which she was laying coupled with laughing as hard as she ever has. I was a little mad at first because Aunt Ang went down hard, but since she was laughing it was difficult to stay mad for long. It did make me rethink letting the kids take it to school. I still let them. I just thought about letting them a little more.

Absolutely the best little gift gag for the grandkids. The 5 year old especially loved going around scaring everyone with it. She dropped it a few times and was a little rough with it but it held up like new. Well made.

I have bought my nieces and nephews each puzzle boxes with money in the middle previously. I ran out of puzzle boxes to gift them so for Christmas I got them one of these and told them they all had to work together to open it. They started and as quickly as they could ripped the drawer open to which of course the spider pops out basically on one of ems hand and they all proceed to hot potato it for a few seconds. It was hilarious and totally worth!

I can't wait to use this on my family. I had to bend the wire slightly, which was easily done with my fingers, because the spider went straight up and not over my hand.

I have ordered assorted and purchased assorted over the years. Thus one was garbage. I sent it to a friend. I arrived barely functional and jammed constantly. Very cheaply and poorly constructed.

You can see in the picture that the slot for the top of box is too big so when mine arrived all you have to do is slightly tilt the box and the top just falls and its all loose so there is a delay on when the spider comes out whereas the other one we bought from another company on here the spider will immediately pop out as soon as the door starts to open. Really how difficult is it to make this, this person that made this was really lazy and ruined the surprise for a lot of people who wasted their money on this.

My daughter pranked my husband with this gift for Christmas. It was really funny. The box itself looks like as if it contained candy, so he really jumped when he opened it. :)

The quality poor and definitely not worth the price. Broke after a couple of days of use.
