ok..needs monthly replacement which gets expensive.
I had an American Plumber whole house filter system installed about 18 months ago. It works ok yet filters have to be replaced monthly. This is getting expensive so I may just have to go a different route.

Work as intended
These fit the whole house American plumber water filter well- work as intended with simple install. Believe there are more effective filters available but if on well water these are sufficient as long as you switch out every 3 months. Keep an eye on the o ring's condition when changing. May need to replace or at least greese up the o ring.
