A Budget SSD, You Just Cant Beat
Very affordable SSD for installing an operating system or using in an enclosure as portable storage. It was easy to set up and worked fine with my older PC when I did a fresh install of Windows 10. Boot-up was quick and the system feels a lot more responsive than it did before. For gaming or larger file storage I’d go for at least 1TB, but this size is ideal as a dedicated OS drive to keep things separate, unless you’re after one of the faster M.2 style drives. Overall, it has been a perfect replacement for my previously failing hard drive.

A solid choice
I recently upgraded my home PC and picked up the Lexar NQ100 2.5” SATA III 960GB SSD as a backup drive. I've been running it via a USB 3.0 enclosure rather than internally, and I'm genuinely impressed with its performance. The speeds are excellent, consistently hitting up to 540MB/s read and 500MB/s write. This makes transferring large files a breeze. The build quality feels very similar to a Samsung Evo, which is a testament to its solid construction. What truly sets this SSD apart is its incredible price. Under £40 for a near 1TB SSD is amazing value. Additionally, the rated write endurance is listed at 168TB (which equates to approximately 96GB per day for five years). This is more than enough for average users who use their PCs for web browsing, document editing, light gaming, and general tasks. Or, like myself, need a back-up drive. If you're a content creator (video editing, graphic design), frequently perform large backups, or run data-intensive applications, you might prefer an SSD with a higher TBW rating for your main drive. If you are looking for a budget friendly drive that does not sacrifice speed or build quality, this is the drive for you.

Good budget drive
Seems to have overall better performance than my Adata SU630 from my experience, 240GB is enough to speed up an older PC

The sad drives are great; I use these for image backup on my Win. 11 PC's.

Exactly what you want at a reasonable price... nVME is probably just a cheap though.
Good performance and an easy installation for someone with some experience. Massive upgrade in speed and matches the normal spinning hard drives in laptops so will fit as a straight swap. Just remember you need to copy your current drive to this drive first before you fit it. Unless of course you are reinstalling or replacing defective components.

Solid upgrade for a Raspberry Pi setup
Picked this up to give my Raspberry Pi 3B a speed boost over the usual microSD route. Windows recognised it straight away during prep (as always, a new disk needs initialising), and once the OS was configured, the Pi handled it without issue. The difference in speed is very noticeable—boots quicker, runs smoother, and just generally feels snappier. If you're using a Pi 4 with USB 3.0, I imagine the performance gain would be even better. Packaging was fine—nothing flashy, but protected well enough. I dropped it into a 3D-printed caddy and perched the Pi on top, connected via a SATA-to-USB cable. Works a treat. Great little drive for the price.

The SSD looks really nice and has respectable speeds and would be a great upgrade from any Hard Disk. Though I wasn't really fascinated with the packaging, but it serves it's purpose as needed.

For the price it's worth purchasing it. It's been a month now since I've purchased and installed it in my 7 year ASUS laptop and it feels like a brand new laptop. I've also upgraded the memory RAM so everything runs smooth and the bootup time is about 5 seconds. No more lags and waiting for webpage to open up. I think newer laptops and desktops should be replaced with SSD's or M.2 drives over the HDD. But...they are way more expensive. My advice for everyone....if you purchase a new laptop or desktop that still has HDD in them...replace it right away. Use the SSD for your OS and bootup time while you use your HDD as a storage drive. It's something to think about folks! POWER ON!
