Cute as can be...
Cute as a frog can be. Eyes light up and flash as he croaks just as described in the ad. Hope he scares off the stray animals that visit my back yard. Maybe even a two legged one. LOL

A Fun Household Addition
I bought this as a Christmas present for my girlfriend. She'd mentioned once that her grandparents had something similar to this and when she was a kid, she used to try and sneak up on it without triggering the motion-sensing.She'd been so nostalgic about it, and sad that she hadn't been able to find it when her grandparents passed. She was positively thrilled when she received this, and it does exactly what it's advertised as doing.

Motion sensor does not work
This product is terrible. Motion detection does not work, it croaks when nobody is near it. Bought it as a gift so outside my return window. Very disappointed

I think he's cute even if he isn't a prince
I have been looking for a frog with a motion detector that croaked. I bought this to replace a dearly loved gift of one from an uncle, although not only did the frog croak, he had a tongue that shot out like it was catching a fly. Couldn't find one of those. This one is a fairly nice replacement. The only downside is that it doesn't always pick up on the motion detection. For the most part it functions well. It is durable. The dog is afraid of it, 115 lb rottweiler can you imagine?

Another beautiful face.
This is a beautiful frog but it will only gribbit if you are about 3" away. I have tried changing locations, moving to a higher place. The eyes light up when the frog chirps but it doesn't work at night. I have 2 other chirping frogs. one is ugly the other is a toad I've had them in my front yard for 10 years. I clean them and seal them about once yearly. This frog that I bought proves all that glitters is not gold. If you buy this for the motion actived "gribbit", it is a disappointing purchase.

Cute lawn ornament
This is a fun lawn ornament. The motion detection isn't very reliable. Sometimes it croaks when you walk by it and other times it doesn't. Sometimes it croaks all by itself. It is worth the money and something fun and different for the price. The paint is an attractive green and it looks better than in the picture. It may not be water resistant long-term so I bring it in during a heavy rainstorm. The little gate on the bottom for the batteries was not durable and comes out if you are not careful.

This frog is a big dude!
I've only had him one day but already laughed several times as I forgot about him and walked past the driveway. Much bigger than I expected and quite attractive in a froggy way. Update: Still works a few weeks later. One morning I was laying in bed and since my bedroom window was open I could hear him croaking continuously. I finally went out in my pajamas to check if I had a visitor but it was because a large snail was perched on his face. I plucked it off, gently and stuck it on a rock. No problems since but it proves he works well! P.S. Update! I must have been at leasta year or two and frog dude is still croaking. If he sounds odd, change the batteries. Mine lasted all summer. Put him on a dry porch in the winter for a long froggy life!

Let’s you know when someone is near it
Let’s me know when someone is near but it can also be annoying if there is a lot of traffic.
