Werner 56-1 Attic Ladder Spring Replacement Kit only for W2200, W2500, WH2200, & WH2500 Werner Access Ladders

Worked great for my stair door. Be sure to measure your door with the spring closed, this spring filmy door and is not listed on the description.

Awesome replacement, the new springs that came were slightly smaller, or my old strings were just stretched as when I installed this, the slack went away and it feels like a brand new ladder again!! Tips for installing this would be to unbolt the hinge from the ladder, then hold onto the bar so it doesnt recoil, instead climb up the ladder carefully and let it release slowly, then disconnect the spring, reattach new spring, then pull down actuation arm and bolt back into place. Piece of cake once I figured out what to do.

Springs worked PERFECT

Not as strong as the original springs, but these saved me from having to replace the whole attic ladder system. One of the springs was completely shot so I used one of this set and one of the originals. It's good enough to keep the door attic foor closed without a huge air gap.

These worked great for me as replacement springs.

They are not Overall spring length: 9-1/8". They are 11.5"

The hook part was different lengths on both so some fitted east while others where a pain. Not too cheap either… look around and see if you can buy and see it in person.
