Purchased this as a gift and was thrilled at the quality of it.

I bought this mug and the other fox one from this line for my daughter-in-laws bday (she loves foxes) and I can assure you that the pictures shown DO NOT do these mugs justice!! They are absolutely beautiful! I wasn’t sure what to expect as they are paintings not photos but they truly are very well done. They are large and heavy. Not clumsy heavy but well made. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! They are clear about how to protect these mugs, they’re not microwaveable and not dishwater safe. They are made of a porous clay that must be hand washed. They do come with a lid and it fit fine but she doesn’t ever use it so I can’t comment on how it works for commuting and such. I am VERY happy with my purchases in this line. Again, the work is beautiful. Just makes you feel good looking at it!

I did not need another mug, but the pic was so cute. I am so glad I got it. I drink tea from it. The lid helps keep it hot longer than a regular coffee mug. I like it being ceramic because it warms my hands like a coffee mug. The weight is perfect. I wish it didn't say not to run it in the dishwasher, but to save the image I don't mind. That is the four star reason as opposed to five.

Perfect for someone who travels or on the go! Perfect size for a standard 12oz pour with room for sugar or creamer with coffee. Even better for tea or of the likes! Warning, it is a bit fragile. One drop while standing will probably be the end, being knocked over seems fine though.

Minigift Ceramic Travel Coffee Mug...The mug is really beautiful. It holds a full 16 ounces with a lot of room left over for cream and sugar. Very happy with this purchase. I'm eagerly waiting for delivery of two of the birds mugs in this series. The lid is a great additional feature to keep the tea/coffee hot and to keep thecoffee or tea from spilling.

Stunning design, feels great to hold. Unfortunately even a slight impact will break and render it useless as a mug for drinking hot or cold beverages. Mine broke before I was even able to use it once! It was standing on my kitchen counter and a random clumsy movement with my hand bumped it to sitting on its side (minimal impact).Bottom line: Gorgeous, comfortable mug for use inside your home but is certainly not suitable for use as a travel mug and will require extreme caution even for use within your homeI'm very disappointed in its fragility. Will use instead as a decorative mug displayed on a high shelf in an enclosed breakfront after gluing the two broken pieces to the rest of the mug (see photo).
