Very fresh and delicious!

I was very happy with the peppercorns. No information on the sourcing much but the quality appears very good. There were virtually no cracked peppercorns and the bag was pleasantly fragrant. They seemed fresh not tired and stale! Green Roots keep up the good work. Add a section on farms you use and push for fair wages/working conditions. Thanks!

That’s what we call them around here.We’ve used at least 2 kilos of black pepper in this 2 person household during the Pandemic, from a few different countries, all pretty good. These struck me as very fresh and clean. They’re good and we’ll likely order more from Greenroots about 6 months from now.

I did like the peppercorns but note the plastic wrapping was weak and brittle, so a rip occurred during transit. It did not rip the envelope, meaning the friction just broke the peppercorn package. So some had spilled out into the envelope.That made me wonder if that was old and I also saw no expiration date but it should be good. It tastes fine!

The smell of this pepper is very strong and the taste is strong as well compared to regular pepper. I like the texture that it adds to the food.

These are delicious and pretty robust.
