This is the extra small version
This is the extra small version so beware. Great Quality Thickness and Perfect glide for movement. I play bf6 and do aim training and it's perfect for that. My mouse is the g703 light speed. Go for the XL for value.

One of the few high quality small mousepads
There's very limited options if you're looking for a quality gaming mousepad that's tiny. This is high quality and tiny and so it's perfect. I had a Medium-sized Zero before returning it because it was a tad too large. The Hien is a bit more scratchy than the Zero, I assume that makes it a speedier pad.

Best I’ve used, never going back
Unfortunately it was smaller than I need (my fault for just buying the cheapest I could find), but it’s by far the best mousepad I’ve ever used. The difference between this and any non woven mousepad is night and day. It runs faster than most mousepads I’ve used, but more smoothly, and feels incredible in quality. I’m definitely a loyal Artisan customer now. Massive plus for the full rubber back which prevents it from slipping, I have heavy hands which used to displace my old desk length mousepads.

Great Pad, Mid Comfort—Stack Responsibly
Great traction, solid durability—this mousepad handles long hours like a champ and doesn’t fray at the edges the moment you look at it wrong. Whether you’re flicking in-game or dragging cells in Excel rage, it keeps up without slipping. Comfort, though? Eh. It’s not bad, but let’s just say your wrist won’t be writing it any thank-you notes. That said, slap your old, squishier pad underneath like a wrist throne and you’ve got a budget-friendly hybrid that gives you precision and pity for your wrist. 4/5—because it’s great at its job, just not at pampering you while it does it.

Proper Mouse pad size...
Don't know if it performs "better", but it's ridiculous that all the "good" mouse pads are HUGE monsters. Most people don't even use all that space when gaming, so I find it dumb that most gaming pads are being made so huge.

Smooth and sleek
Great mousepad, even better packaging, wow. Combined with a G203 wireless mouse, and I'm really loving it so far. Mouse glides across it effortlessly, and the pad itself adheres to my desk very well.

Overall, the mousepad feels excellent. After reading countless reviews and browsing forums, I finally decided to buy the Artisan Hien in extra soft. I've tried several different mousepads from various brands, and in a nutshell, this brand is the best. Hands down, the quality of the stitching to the padding and textured surface is just in a league of its own. Compared to other brands, yes, this price is quite a premium, but the sheer performance and feel are worth it. At first, I was hesitant, partly due to the price but also due to the different material the Hien uses on its face. After giving it a try and using it as my daily driver for the past few days, I give it a 10/10. The shipping from Japan was fast (like really, really fast; 2 days maybe?), and the quality of the packaging was good too. If, for some reason, this mousepad gets run over by a car, and I have to buy a new one, I will buy it again.
