CityComfortLadies Slipper Boots Knitted Warm Winter Indoor Booties

I suffer from lymphedema and as a result my feet can get quite swollen. I have been trying to find a pair of slippers I could actually get on. I was initially interested in these slipper boots because the top unbuttons and open out. Then I read the reviews and noticed that some people complained about them being big and loose, so I ordered a pair. I can actually get my feet in them and they are extremely comfortable. Sometimes what is a fault to one person is an advantage to someone else, which is why genuine reviews are very helpful.

Very wide , comfortable but not as good as they look

I found these boots very warm which is great. I also find that my feet slide to the size when walking which is not comfortable.Great for sitting not for walking around.

Bought these in july 2022 in a 5/6 and they fit my daughter who's a 7 really well. I re-bought them in a 3/4 and they fit me perfectly. All my footwear is a 5 so slippers can be a bit hit and miss when it comes to buying the right size. I don't like loose floppy slippers. We've both used and washed/tumbled these at least once a month (we have other slippers too, so not so gross as it sounds). They haven't worn out yet and I wear them indoors and out even when gardening which neighbours find very amusing. They do stretch with wear quite a bit but that's OK if you buy the right size for you. Shrink back a little after tumbling . We're both about to buy another pair or two each.

Not quite what I expected as I wear slippes most o the time. My fault as I did not realist the soles woul be so thin on the sole as I do have to put things outside but only go on tthe steps in them.

This is definitely one of those items where cheaper is actually dearer as you end up replacing the product within weeks of use. After a few days, the memory foam will be squished down to nothing, leaving a sole that is thin enough to do a braille-toe read of a book in the next room. To clarify: these can not be worn outside for even a quick dash to the paper, unless your "outside" consists of a fluffy cloud of squishy marshmallow puffs with a zero moisture exposure. I have only worn these on carpets, but I would imagine if you have any other type of floor covering, you might as well go barefoot for the warmth the sole provides. No issues with the fit or the knitted top covering, it's pretty enough and exactly as shown in the pictures, but I'm giving it three stars purely for the huge let-down in practical, functional use.
