My only two dislikes about it are the factory fasteners for the head gear and the rubber band head gear eventually goes bad awesome otherwise

I agree with most of the reviewers anout this helmet and I highly recommended it. Resist buying the tricked out Lincoln, Miller, or Speedglass helmets for $200+ and order this hood, a lens (auto or passive), and either surgical tubing to upgrade the existing headgear or order whatever headgear you prefer. You absolutely need to trim the bottom though about an inch tapering off to the sides where the hood goes vertical. Otherwise the hood hits your collar bone and gets held up on your upper chest when you look down. If you're just starting out, don't think that you need a large auto lens and a slick paint job. You can see just as well (in my opinion) through the 2" x 4" standard which every welding supply carries and cover lenses are dirt cheap. There is enough room in the lens holder to take an auto dark or passive lens, drop in filter plate or magnifying lens, and poly cover plates on both sides. If you need suggestions for headgear, I recommend the Jackson 370 ratchet style. As far as passive lenses, you cant go wrong with a Phillips safety gold (most affordable and excellent lens), wens lens blue, or Aulektro gold. As far as an auto dark lens, you can't go wrong with an Arcone, Miller, or Jackson EQC (if you need variable shades although it's much thicker than the other two suggested). There are also drop in filter plates by Phillips Safery that reduce flare while welding. I personally use a Miller shade 8 autodark 2" x 4" lens with the Phillips safety 2" x 4" super magenta drop in filter and it's awesome. Depending on what I'm welding, I will wear some shaded safety glasses underneath when running higher amperage. Anywho..,bottom line is this welding hood is top notch and won't disappoint.
