Never Make the Same Mistake Twice: Lessons on Love and Life Learned the Hard Way

Nene is the first woman in any of the Real Housewives series that I have truly related to. And that is because she is real, honest, and can always laugh at herself, which is a huge gift in life! She has been the reason I tune in each week, because I don't click with any of these other totally materialistic chicks of Atlanta.When I heard Nene had a book coming out, my heart was full of pride for her. I appreciate women who are independent (not those who say they are; like Kim...but don't get me started on her!) My friend picked up the book before I had a chance, and I started looking through it and could not put it down. It's just that reader-friendly! So here I am to purchase my own, b/c my book collection would just not be complete without Ms. Nene's story, told in her own words.Nene, if you do read these reviews, please ignore the haters. You are a wonderful and confident lady, and your admirers far exceed the few who are petty and jealous of your success! And I am one of your biggest admirers! Thanks for telling your story, and I highly recommend it to all others.I hope Nene will always continue being just as she is...a natural, honest and refreshing woman! It must feel great to be Anderson Cooper's favorite housewife! (BAM)

I didn't purchase this book thinking I was going to read anything mature or life changing so there was no disapointment for me like some other readers. This is straight up classic Nene Leakes if you watch RHWOA. It's funny, it's written just like she talks so it feels like you're an old friend sitting in the room with a glass of pinot just talking about life. Good read but please don't expect to hear anything enlightening. Just read.

Everything You'd expect about Nene. I love her!!! I admit some moments leave you questioning if we are still talking about the same woman. For the most part though, she never fails to disappoint, and its a great add to your collection. If you like glamor, fabulosity, and gossip; as she would say, "Honey, I am the star!" Great Buy! I urge y'all to check it out!

Nene this was a great book so glad I bought it and read it.. It was nice to know the whole story behind her struggles but I don't like the person she has become in RHOA.. if I wouldn't have read this before this season of RHOA I wouldn't have bought it with her Rich ***** attitude that she has now!!!!

It's an honest, transparent conversation that Nene Leakes has about herself with her many fans. It's courageous and poignant, while simultaneously and (to coin a somewhat over-used word these days) . . . "REAL."

Although humorous, honest and interesting I was disappointed due to the fact that the stories were nothing knew from the tv episodes; love Nene and her character....would be somewhat skeptical to purchase another autobiography that she publishes for the very same reason.....I can tape the episodes for free vs spending money for a book.....Having said this, I continue to watch Real Housewives of Atlanta in part because of her

in this book there was no lessons to be learned. it was just talk about how Nene made it and at the end she bad talked the other ladies of rhoa. not a good read.

I loved this book so much. This is a really goo book if you are a fan of NeNe's and have watched her on RWOA. It does explain why she is so driven, but also why sometimes we see her soft side. This book made me laugh, cry but most of all made me realise that its important to never stop going for that dream. There are no holds barred, some of her life may even shock you, but she tells you as it is..It's not sugar coated at all.Some of the other houswives could learn alot from this book..Easily the best book i have read in a long time..

Would recommend to anyone one who is a fan of this real housewives of Atlanta. I could not put it down nenes personality really comes across in this book and you can almost imagine her saying it as your reading it as it has been written just how nene speaks and the phrases that she uses. wish she would do another book :)

I haven't finished reading but so far an entertaining read. If your a fan of NeNe's then definitely worth a read to know where she has come from.

Love all the housewives programmes but have to admit nene is brillant brillant book couldn't put it down has worked so hard to get were she is and deserves every bit of happieness wealth and sucess that comes her way easy to read because its wrote just the way nene speaks highly recommend to everyone even if your don't Watching the show

Nene is my favourite of the Real Housewives so this was a no brainer! I am of course biased as I loved the product.
