Aqualung Grip-Lock Tank Band Assembly

I removed my old strap and replaced it with this one. I used tweezers to pull the strap into my old BCD. I then took it to my scuba shop. The man helped adjust my strap to the perfect size for a tank. Make sure to adjust your strap ahead of a trip since this may be tricky to do on a rocky boat. This strap held my tank really well and the tank did not move at all. It was really easy to snap onto the tank as well. My old plastic strap had just worn out. I am glad I replaced it with this strap since it is really nice and works well. It is also easy to snap onto your tank. Being a smaller women I had no issues getting it tight enough on my tank.

Easy tank switching.

I bought 2 of these to replace the standard straps on my Zeagle Stiletto BS. They are jst a little more narrow but the holding power is great. I did leave the rubber strap taht was part of the original Zeagle setup and combining that with the piece of rubber in the Aqualung clasp and the tank will go nowhere. If I buy another BC that does not have these I will upgrade them immediatly.

I replaced the lower tank band of my BC with this and very pleased with the results. When changing over tanks it's much easier now as I don't need to lift the BC as high over the tank valve. It's secure and easy to use.

As the title says, it's the best upgrade I ever did to my BCD. I recently bought a backplate/wing (BP/W) setup which had a closed loop type of band where you have to put your BP/W over the tank to secure it. Man that was annoying. I bought 2 of these, and changing tanks is easier than ever. Plus the presets are on point and secure.

The GripLock band is very secure and easily clamped. Very simple installation. The finger saving design is much appreciated. I have not had a tank slip since installing the band. Makes switching tanks very easy compared to the original bands supplied with most BCD's. Purchased as a replacement a year ago and the product shows no wear at all despite over 100 dives in all conditions. The band is easily adjusted for different sized tanks without having to re-string the band through the buckle. Makes changing over to a new tank while on a boat, very easy.

What’s not to like? You can replace any removable cam strap with this warlock and it’s good to go. I wouldn’t put it on anything you dive overhead environments with, but for open water diving this is as good as it gets. Much better than ScubaPros version.
