Another Tim Curry masterclass
I'd never seen this film and as a Tim Curry fan that seemed like a big slap in the face to me, so I plonked down my money and waited patiently for it to drop through my letterbox. This is easily one of the best comedrama films I've seen with Tim Curry as luckless Larry desperate to be a star and never making it, his range may come as a surprise to those who have never seen him before other than as snarky hotel manager in the Home Alone franchise or as Frank'n'Furter in Rocky Horror, but the man has an amazing knack for impersonations and comedic timing a lot of current comedy stars could well do with.Larry finds a case in the back of his car and decides to be nosey, finding it full of money he makes the ill advised choice to keep it and tells all his friends that he has finally made it and has to go to his new project as he tries to get away, only problem is the mob know he has the money and they want it back too!

Blue Money
Loosely based on a true story Tim Curry stars as a Taxi driver who absconds with a quarter of a million in cash. This excellent comedy provides Curry with the chance to utilise all of his acting talents. Along with with a strong supporting cast, I found this television movie to be most enjoyable.

Recomended, great visual and audio and jolly good fun.
Fantastic pro-video to DVD transfer from the ITV studios.Waited for 36 years for this, recorded the original when broadcast in 1984 onto good old Betamax Video Tape but not viewed since 1984.Very pleased with the disc and its presentation.Great bit of comic fluff from Tim Curry.

Altogether now: #Blue Money, Blue Money".
A Jolly Good laugh, not taking life too seriously back in '85. Check out the big, laverish McDonald's with its gold bars staircase ha! Good cast, and Mr. Curry hamming it up with all the impressions & accents, haw, haw!

Not A Great Film.
This is was not a great film, very dated and Billy Connolly only plays a very small part in it, probably for around 10 minutes you see him. The story line is poor and Tim Curry does his best to lift the film & the story line. If you have got this film very cheaply i;e £1.00 and like Tim Curry then watch it, don't get it if you are hoping to see plenty of Billy Connolly, but other wise I would not recommend this film.
