Bought this for a six year old, but found it interesting enough that I didn’t want to give it up!

Good book, but for younger kids than the one I purchased it for, so I gave it to the local library.

This is basically an ABC book with Native American words. It sprinkles in some information about Michigan-specific Native Americans, but honestly, I found more information online from our state website resources. Oh, and the only color is the cover- all the pages are black and white. Not worth the money.

This children's resource book is full of great information about Native Americans in Michigan. The alphabetical order applied to these facts keeps interest high and they are a great starting point for further learning. Wish there were more hands-on activity ideas to do with Elementary aged children.
