Excellent quality, easy to use, simple instructions
My nephew asked me to build him a hide-a-way TV cabinet as a housewarming gift (first home purchase), so I did some research and bought this lift unit as the mechanical part. The unit required no alterations or modification and worked perfectly straight out of the box.I truly appreciated that the design is intuitive and there was no guess work or re-rigging involved.I can see so many applications beyond what I built for my nephew, so if you are a crafty type, this could go well as a retro-fit in existing cabinets or other furniture. Even upside down from the ceiling if one wanted to be creative.

CRAP PRODUCT DON’T BUY
After time and effort building a hide away box. Remote stopped working. I thought it would be easy to get a replacement remote without returning entire product and having to dismantle the box that cost money. NOPE. MOUNT-It does not have replacement parts or inventory like a real company. Seemed to be a one and done business. Make a crap product let it run it’s course and bow out the business before their crap products catch up with them. Complete Rip-off. You’re gonna be stuck with trash if you buy from them. Find a reputable business that’s an expert in their products.I had it replaced and a year later guess what???? It doesn’t work again so I have to find a new company for replacement. MAY 2024

Great Unit!
The media could not be loaded. So I had been looking for some type of TV mount that would allow me to bring down a TV from an upper stored area to a lower position to watch TV in my outdoor Pavilion. I didnt have a lot of room for a normal mount and didnt want the tv in the way when not in use. I looked at fireplace TV mounts I looked at ceiling mounted mounts, you name it I looked at it. I actually purchased a fireplace mount but when it arrived I didnt have enough clearance, so I had to return it and start my search all over again. I found this unit along with a few other motorized units. The issue I ran into was most of these motorized units were only to be mounted right side up. I actually needed the TV to drop down and not raise up. I contacted a few of the manufacturers and they told me their particular units could not be mounted upside down. I tried contacting Mount It but did not get a reply to the answer if it could be mounted in an upside down position. There were a few other units that are very similar and less expensive than this unit but I liked the remote better than the other units it didnt look as "cheap" so I decided to go with this unit and give it a shot. I really love how this turned out! I mounted the unit upside down and it works like a charm!

Its okay
Major complaints are the foot design, which is just confusing and straight up weird and unstable, and no wifi control. Also the cords are un-necessarily complex, the mounting hardware is lacking and you can't pause it mid-operation, so its either fully up or fully down, and the travel is not adjustable either.I got this model because I wanted something with a slim profile I could install inside of a low half-wall for a whiteboard. For that application, it does okay. I realize its probably not designed for the use to which I've put it and as a result, it is a bit wobbly when we try to write on it, but overall it actually works decently and all things considered and I can't fault it for not being rock solid when that's obviously not its intended use.A few minor updates would make this product a lot better.

Remote stopped working after about 1 year
Stand was working fine (only use it a few times a month). Then it just stopped working. Checked the battery and it was fine. Called support and they said they would not warranty the item since I bought it used. I'm pretty handy so I was able to open the cover and bypass the remote and build my own switch. Based on reviews I'm not the only one. It's shame that a $200+ dollar item is wasted on a $15 cheap sensor board.

Great product and seller!
This was all smooth and easy. It hides the TV away at the foot of the bed. Delivery and product were amazing!

Easy to mount and fully functional within 20 minutes
This was a great purchase, being comfortable installing a motorized mount into a cabinet, especially when it saves me $1000's of dollars.

What do you do when remote fails after 2 months of use?
I have been using this sparingly. Probably raised it up and down 2 dozen times total since I installed it in my box.Works great in the box that I built but there is now one issue. The only problem is that i lowered it and now I cannot get it to go up...I replaced the remote batteries and no luck.So I guess when the remote dies you need to buy an entire new lift system?
