ARIATAccessories Waxed Nylon Boot Lace

I have an old pair of Ariat paddock boots and the laces have basically fallen apart from use. These are waxed and seem like they might outlive my boots.

I thought I ordered one pair, but this arrived in a crushed box that held 6 pairs of laces! Good thing they were not breakable. Also a little suspicious that the listing does not say anything about the number and they have a price tag on them that say $3.50. But I suppose that means I got a good deal? The laces themselves were thicker than the original paddock boot ones, but I was able to make them work, though they are a bit longer than the originals.

These were not as expected. Too thick to fit my Ariat western Heritage 2 boots.

It was delivered quickly. However, when you spend almost $400.00 on a pair of field boots and the laces snap in a year you would expect that the manufacturing company would sell replacement laces that were an exact match for what they initially put in the boot. These laces were not the stretchy smooth elastic ones that came in the boot. They were much thicker and bumpy and not elastic. They were not a dark black so I had to cut the original lace out of the other boot and replace it also to match. My beef isn't with Amazon but with ariat.
