Love this message to kids!
I bought this book when it first came out to keep at my house for my little granddaughter when she visits!! This is her favorite book to have read to her (and I have over fifty kids books). We give each other funny looks, laugh and giggle!! I never thought “tooting” would help cement such a solid special relationship with her!! Sometimes Grandpa stands outside the door and makes sound effects which put her into a fit of giggles! So he benefits in the closeness, too!!I just sent another copy of the book to one of my oldest and dearest friends for her grandchildren. She said her six year old grandson absolutely loves this book and loves the idea that his brand new sister (one month old) is already tooting “at her age”!! I sent him the latest book written by Ashley and Arwen about wearing masks during this terrible pandemic...it helped him understand what is going on in our world today and why wearing a mask helps so much!!I love the book...a lot!! ❤️♥️❤️

Tooting is Okay
I love the message of this book! It helps kids to know that tooting is okay and everyone does it!As a 2nd grade teacher, having a conversation about tooting is pretty common! These conversations usually happen when someone rips one while in a group or sitting at the carpet. I have tooting conversations with my students to share the exact message of the book. I want my students to know that tooting is a part of life and isn't something to be embarrassed about.I plan on reading We Toot during the first week of school, so my kiddos know that it is normal to fart and toot! I know this will help kids to feel less embarrassed when it happens in class.Through my writing teacher's eyes, I see so many possible mini-lesson possibilities in We Toot. The book can be used to teach onomatopoeia, dialogue, and rhyme.I am so glad I purchased this book and can't wait to share it with my 2nd-grade students!

The Girls Love It! My Son Did Too!
What a wonderful, body-positivity forward, female-led book. Hilarious and just rightfully gross, I (dad) had lots of fun reading it to my daughters. My 11 year old son wandered in to hear what the laughter was about, and he liked it too. Arwen Evans has a knack for making entertaining tales for kids with modern, valuable lessons about the norms of the world.

A fun story about body positivity!
I really enjoyed this book tremendously. The rhyme is so cute and fun to read aloud (especially coupled with the dialogue), and the story is about wayyyy more than a fart joke or two. It has a deep, meaningful message about being proud of who we are (farts and all). I would recommend this to any kid who wants to hear an important message told in a non-didactic, kid-friendly way.

My Boys LOVE this book!
This is a creative and heart-warming book I read to my 5 year old and 8 year old boys. Both like it and (shockingly) there was a lot less giggling about tooting than we expected. Congratulations to the authors for giving parents like me a great book to talk about some of the many things our bodies do. And, just as importantly, a book about how to be happy with who you are and kind to your friends.

Amazon's headline prompt is "What's Important to Know." For girls + others, the book’s message is!
I'm not a woman, but I suspect that feeling shame over natural bodily things is not unique to girls. But when it comes to passing gas, I imagine boys "have it easier." In fact, in some guy circles, there can even be a kind of boastful boisterousness connected with letting one rip. So, here's to girls not feeling shame and here's to the thoughtful message, wrapped in fun rhyme and sweet illustrations to make it so.

Joyful!
What a fabulous story! It's playful, silly, relatable, and come on, everyone, we all do it. I still have trauma from an elementary school toot, that had this book been around, I may not still have lingering humiliation around what my body does naturally. Boys and girls and transgender and gender-fluid and non-binary children need to read this! It should be required reading in all homes and schools! TOOT TOOT TOOT!

No shame in farting. Rev up those butts!
This is a cute story about how it's ok for girls to fart and not be ashamed. My 5yr old loves it.
