I bought this L’Oreal Magic Root Rescue kit for my mom, and I even helped her do her hair. It’s super easy and convenient to use, and the results are really good—full gray coverage, no weird smell, and it doesn’t fade easily. This is actually my second time buying it, and my mom says it’s way better than any other root touch-up she’s used before. Definitely a great product if you want quick and reliable results at home.

I was honestly surprised by how easy this was to use. The instructions were simple, it didn't make a huge mess, and it covered my gray roots really well. The color blended nicely with the rest of my hair, and it looked natural once it was finished. If you're trying to stretch the time between salon visits or full color treatments, this is definitely worth trying. I'll be buying it again!

This works amazingly well!! I'm 41 and my hair is graying much faster than I'd like. For a long time I was using the tinted hair spray, but even that wasn't covering all my gray anymore. I was so self-conscious because my gray hair was getting out of control! So, I ran across this product and decided to give it a try. This is so super easy to use and it only takes 5 mins to apply and 10 mins to let it set in. Rinse in the shower (make sure you wear the provided gloves during this step!), then shampoo and condition and style as normal. And BINGO! Beautiful, natural looking color without the huge salon price tag. I LOVE the results. I definitely recommend this product!

Product itself is great. Lasts about 3 weeks before I start to seee enough Gray at the roots to reapply. So fast 10 minutes and enough to cover all the areas on my head. Only complaint is the last batch of 3 packages I received had defective gloves. Each glove did not have the other mirrored/sandwiched side for me to slip my hand into to protect my hand from staining. Thought just 1st box was mispackaged, then second box in packaged pair also just had the outline of a plastic hand (nothing to slip my hand into). Now a 3rd box in the second package has the same error.

I love this stuff. Not like most hair dyes. Only 10 minutes and wash. No damage and full grey coverage. What I like most is it comes with a applicator brush. Its optional but there. So easy.

I would buy this root touch up just for the applicator alone even though there may be a way to do that w/o the dye. Covered all my grays on top and around my hairline (my trouble spots and most hair dyes don't cover mine no matter how much I saturate those areas!) I wish I purchased this sooner because I have been dying my roots for several years now and at least once a month, but always a time consuming pain for me that I dread. I now will not dread doing this. No real sensitivities for me as well, when most hair dyes cause at least a little, including itching. From opening the box, to mixing and prepping to applying it to my roots, it took me under 10 minutes (I tried to work fast and timed it), then another 12-15 minutes to let it sit. I decided to go a little longer because like I mentioned my grays are so tough to dye. Also, Idk if there is any contraindications for mixing other hair dyes with this one, but I also decided to add a little semi-permanent dye (maybe a cap full) I currently have in black because I like to go darker at the roots and one of the reasons is my grays aren't typically covered w/o doing this. And I tend to pull a lot of red brown no matter how hard I try not to, so this has helped me in the past after trying dozens and dozens of colors and techniques including using color canceling products. I am no professional and a true amateur, but IMO this is a great product and does the job easily at a great price. Hope this helps some of you : )

I love this L’Oreal magic root cover-up. It’s great and easy to do.

I used a dark brown which is my original color. The color did match and it did the job which is why I gave it 3stars but when it stated to wear off, it started turning my hair orange. Do not recommend and will not buy again.

I colored my hair in the hairdresser previously and the color matches perfectly. Very clean, quick and easy to use. I recommend!

I received a free sample of this hair product. Magic Root was super easy to apply by myself. The application was clean, fast and very simple to use. The color matched perfectly. I love that it only takes 10 min waiting time to see the results. The end result is that it left my hair shiny and gorgeous and it fully covered my grey roots. I would definitely buy this product again. I love it!!! ❤
