is it good for cutting bones like chicken bones or pork bones?

You would use this like a western chefs knife. It's not a butcher's cleaver. Rib cage, keel and wings of the chicken are fine, you can use the cutting edge. Use the spine of the cleaver to break leg and thigh bones. Cartlidge is ok on most meats but stay away from strong bones of animals that don't fly.

How is the grip? Doesnt it slip when the hands are wet

I don't know that I've used it with wet hands, but there are indentions for your fingers which give it an adequate grip, though not like a non-slip grip.
