My experience has basically been the same as everyone else's: There are dings in the top and some of the edges are bent, but it's easy enough to reshape them to be more uniform. The table itself is very sturdy and is a perfect fit for my kitchen. Overall it looks great, and the minor damage makes it look as though I've been lovingly tenderizing meat on it for years. Think of it like ripped jeans for your kitchen. The table was a tiny bit frustrating to assemble but only because I did it alone. With a second person, it would be a breeze. This table is an excellent value and looks great in a modern/industrial-style kitchen.

Great table for the money. Easy to put together and love the adjustable height legs and bottom shelf. My only complaint would be the riser being slightly bent. Based on how it was packaged this is a packaging issue from the factory, not Amazon. Mine was bent on one corner. A little work with a couple of slim pieces of wood and some channel locks and it can be bent back to shape pretty easily though. Other than that, this table is no brainer. Great buy.

They are decent tables, but one table was a different height and overall design than the other two. All three tables arrived bent because the interior box packaging is a joke. You have a 1/16" lip on the rear of the table and it's not protected in the box, so of course every corner is smashed and the whole strip is wavy. Would return them but have to have them.

The table is great and very functional for our application! However, the shipping of the product to our office, not so great. One corner of the box was torn open and the table corner was damaged. There were also some scratches across the top of the table.

Somewhat cheaply made but works kind of a hassle to put together as some of the screws were stripped out . Had to rig it a little but it works.

Came dented. Wondering if these are seconds because so many people complain about dents. As far as structure and workable space, very nice and sturdy.

Nice table but no care was placed into shipping and packaging. Table was received with many dings, dents, and bent corners.

When it arrived the package was perfect, but the table inside looked like it had been hit by a truck before being packed. (Used?, No, all the original surface protective sheets were in place and there was not a scratch on it) What it did have was serious "dents" at two top front corners, bent metal on the sides of the top, an out of round fitting for the shelf and the top that required us to take a vice and reshape the fitting so that we could get the leg on. Under the top, one of the leg mounting brackets was cracked and the weld on one of the the front corners was broken revealing a sharp metal edge. This thing is junk. If it weren't for the fact that we were placing it way back in the kitchen and that we were in no position to wait weeks to return it and try to get another (which may have had the same or worse problems), we would have sent it back. The finish is good, the stainless material is fine, but we can't help thinking that this thing was "foisted off on us from the reject bin" Obviously we will not recommend purchase nor buy another John Boos product.
