Libbey Vina Trumpet Champagne Glasses, Set of 6

These are really cool Champagne flutes. Mine came broken and I got a refund right away, but I did like them. The breakage was not Libbey's fault and could not have been Amazon's fault. This was packed better than almost anything I have ever ordered. Original box, wrapped in two layers of large bubble wrap and inside another box surrounded by brown paper. I think the flaw was having the US postal service deliver it. They are careful with exactly nothing. I ordered another brand that came via UPS in perfect condition even though it was not nearly as well wrapped. I do like them. If you're curious, it was the Arc International Luminarc Grand Noblesse Flute. 5.75 oz. Also in a set of 6. Not quite as elegant as these, but a better size for me. That said, I would rather have had these. They are very nice. Just didn't work out this time.

I had bought my daughter-in-law expensive crystal champagne stems for Christmas. When she broke one she was sick. I told her never to worry. Then I decided to get her some stemware that she could use without all the concern. She loves the trumpet stems, so they are now in her cupboards. Cheers!

If you order this set of glasses you should know that there is a very good chance that you will receive only some of the glasses you order. I ordered one set of glasses and received five out of six glasses, the sixth arriving in pieces. Amazon was very good about crediting my account immediately and they suggested that it would be up to me whether I should order another set. I ordered a second set and three of the six glasses were broken.So I praise Amazon for its quick attention to the first delivery but I fault them on continuing to offer this product when so many customers have complained about breakage and delivery, as you will see if you look through the comments. I realize that these glasses are offered through a third-party. But Amazon's reputation suffers when it continues to offer this product after so many complaints.

The glasses looked great online and I was excited when they were delivered, but when I picked the box up I could hear the glass rattling around in the box. After opening the box, it was confirmed that one of the glasses had shattered during shipment. The return process was simple, but I was not able to exchange due to the fact that the order was only fulfilled by Amazon.The glasses that weren't broken seemed to be of good quality, it was more so the frustration of the broken glass

I ordered 12 (2 sets of 6). One arrived intact--although it was so poorly packed, I'm not sure how! The other 6 were smashed. I'll order another set because I need them. They seem fine, a little thicker than crystal flutes, but far sturdier in the stem. If the next set can arrive safely, I'll be pleased!

Heavier than I thought them would be. One was broken but since I was out of town it was a while before opening them. Should have checked sooner. Happy with the glasses.

I purchased this and I’m so glad I did! So beautiful and sturdy- no imperfections.

I ordered two sets to make an even dozen. (Sadly, my gorgeous champagne flutes of the past are almost all broken.) They all came intact.They are thicker and sturdier than really nice flutes, but still look attractive. I think inebriated guests will be less likely to break these. (Sigh.)
