Easy to use, gives finished appearance ... PLUS a faster way to apply!
These shrink capsules are the bomb! They work very well to give your freshly bottled wine that finished look, and will help keep the cork and mouth of the bottle clean. The first time I used these, I used my wife's hair dryer ... which was a very slow process. The second time I used these, I used a "paint stripper" heat gun from Harbor Freight Tools, and these shrink capsules shrunk immediately to conform to the neck of the wine bottle. This is now my preferred method of shrinking these shrink capsules to the top of my wine bottles, and it has made the application of the shrink capsules very easy and fast.

Amazing
Used them to get alcohol onboard a cruise in a "sealed" wine bottle and worked perfectly. We were amazed at how realistic they looked. Very easy to put on as well. The trick is getting the cork back in all the way or else it doesn't look right when the capsules shrink. We ended up cutting the top of the corks off so that it looked like they were all the way pushed in. Another thing to keep in mind is that when you are removing the cork, to not puncture the bottom of the cork with the wine screw or else wine can leak through the hole (believe it or not). We had to scotch tape the top of one of our bottles for this reason.

Perfect for the cruise ship
You're smuggling wine onto a cruise ship aren't you... It's cool, that's why I purchased these. They work great. Here's my advice though; consider the type and color of "wine" you're taking and adjust the color of the shrink wrap capsule. These black ones work great for green wine bottles (red wine) but make sure it matches the wine bottle label otherwise the whole thing looks... Off... If you're carrying a white wine bottle go with silver or a lighter color shrink wrap capsule. Either way this product is perfect for your standard 7.5ml wine bottle. HAPPY CRUISING!

Perfect, except for the โpull tabโ
I wonโt say what I used these for ๐, but they worked! I was hoping for ones without the pull tab, but I snipped it off. Sealed perfect and clean. Just wish they came without the tab.

Great way to sneak liquor on a boat!
These are GREAT for trying to sneak some hard liquor on a cruise. The black really goes with any of the wines, even if the label isn't black. I had to look up a video and step by step instruction to do this correctly, but this is what I did: 1. First off, choose the cheapest wine with a darker bottle (blackish or greenish) with red wine if you are going to do a variety of hard alcohols since it's easier to match this way. 2. Pop off the wine cork or twist off the cap. I used a wine with a cork, but the cork was a little difficult to get back on. If I was going to do this again, I would definitely opt for a twist off wine bottle. 3. Dump out the wine (and/or drink it!) 4. Pour in your hard liquor, add food coloring to your liquor to make it look like the wine. I used reds, oranges, and a little bit of blue. Mix it up so it's well incorporated. 5. Put a pot on the stove until simmering. 6. Close the wine bottle, make sure it's really tight. If you are using a bottle with a cork, don't fill up the bottle all the way with liquor to leave room for the cork to go into the bottle. 7. Place the shrink capsule on the top of the bottle and quickly dip the bottle into the simmering pot of water. Do a very quick two second dip! If you do it for too long, the capsule will break open. 8. Done! I even could not tell between the real wine and the "pretend" wine. Have fun on your cruise! NOTE: It took me a couple of tries to really get the method right, but there are more than enough capsules in the package have a few mess ups! As of now, Carnival allows two standard bottles of wine per person. I would definitely recommend this method over the water bottle method. They check all the waters that you bring on board; though, they barely check the wine bottles!

Not for the Novice
I only give these three stars as they do not always shrink evenly (you get a lot of creased lines). I guess I am a slight perfectionist and want a perfect seal (smooth) not the my five year old did this look. I will redo it until it does look perfect and in doing so I have wasted about 60% of the capsules as it takes on average 3 tries to get a decent looking seal. Maybe it is me and maybe it isn't but either way it proves not to be easy for the novice concluding me giving them three stars.

Good fit.
Fit perfect and make bottles look professional. Use pot of boiling water and dunk in cap using a pencil/eraser to hold while dunking.

PVC bottle caps
Easy to use with hair dryer or heat gun, I wish it was shiny finish not mat but rather then that very easy to use and makes your amateur wine production line looking professional, nice finish touch and looks.
